Sadly someone travelled down to the beach to take pictures if the storm and had disappeared.
Unfortunately I have feared this day ever since TV News channels for into the very bad and greedy habit of getting the public to do their work for them.
How is that?
Because whenever something terrible is happening in daylight that is dangerous and whenever there is bad weather they are always encouraging viewers to take photos and send them in!
I have always thought this was extremely irresponsible and stupid. It is yet another example of the media being just as naive and careless as those they are always reporting on. Celebrities mostly.
I bet it does not cross their minds how many kids might want their 5 minutes of fame by having their name and picture mentioned on TV?
For instance this poor young guy is a teenager.
Let us hope they show a little more sense in future?!
So is it down to the storm or irresponsible TV News executives that really should know better.
