SCIENTISTS SENTENCED TO 6 YEARS?!?!

The very principal and very foundation of science is that of theoretical possibilities. We state out best guess and stick with that until, one way or another, it is proven right or wrong. If proven wrong you move onto the next BEST theory.

In essence Science is 'Best Guess'.

Unfortunately something has happened that may well shock the scientific community, if it has not already?!

If the sacking of the leading Scientific advisor in the UK, now never mentioned, is not bad enough as he would not LIE for the government and with horror I read this last night!

I can only begin to guess at the absolute damage this will cause and will lead, in my opinion, to the greater loss of human life in the coming years?! But that is what the court's decision is supposed to protect, is it not?

NO.

Now there will be a growing number of scientists who either will now stand back and refuse to make these educated guesses, be they right or wrong, or the next thing will be a growing number of towns or cities completely evacuated a a huge cost they will then be fired for for getting it wrong.

So as a scientist now you have the TWO FOLLOWING possibilities to look forward to...

1-Get it wrong and lives are lost you go to jail for murder?!

2-Get it wrong and Millions in currency is lot you get FIRED?!

3-Tell the TRUTRH when the government in question has asked you to LIE for them and you get FIRED?!

I CANOT FATHOM IF GOVERNMENTS THAT LIE ARE HELL BENT ON WORLD DESTRUCTION, SELF-DESTRUCTION OR TRYING TI INITIATE UNREST AND CIVIL WARS AS THEY DO NOT HAVE THE BALLS TO MAKE THE HARD DECISIONS?!

Your guess would be as good as mine in that one! Italian scientists are now spending 6 years in jail!
