CAMPAIGNING FOR CHANGE

I was never one for joining and supporting campaigns many years ago.

Over the years times have changed and I no longer bury my head in the sand or am ignorant towards all plights that come along.

Like the following one for instance regarding Daniel's Law...

Change.org
Martin -
We are making progress!
This week Keir Starmer, the country’s most senior prosecutor, told BBC Panorama "I think the time has come to change the law... there should be a mandatory reporting provision. What you really need is a clear, direct law that everybody understands."
This is a huge boost to our campaign and I have written a blog in the Huffington Post highlighting the growing demand for change from all corners.
With the many MPs, Mandate Now (a coalition of charities), over 85,000 people who have signed the petition on Change.org, and now Keir Starmer all saying the same thing, the Government cannot ignore the message.
Let’s keep the momentum going. Please tweet and share the link for Daniel's Law: change.org/danielslaw
When we reach 100,000 signatures I’m going to write to the Backbench Committee of MPs requesting a national debate on the issue which they will be required to consider.
Many thanks for your continued support and please keep campaigning!
