A British team is tracking it and I presume there is someone with a rifle so they can plant tracking devices on any lumps of ice. Well lumps big enough to sink a ship or vessel that might not spot it.
This way they could like the signals to a network so that the ships computers can alert the crew.
Well would make sense.
