REGULATING THE PRESS

Well here is something I have often wondered about but cannot really care much about no matter how much I try.

The reason being is that real issues and real life events have been pushed aside site to an incessant desire to chase after famous celebrities to dig up dirt on their private lives and embarrass them in the national press.

I cannot not emphasize enough how much I have hated this gradual decline in the press. Or that they seem to report against anyone going to war but seem to revel in huge numbers of deaths or indeed horrid deaths via some chemical weapon or disfigurement.

Then there is this hacking scandal?

On the one hand I believe that these hacks were forced upon reporters, well done of the time, by the owners like the Murdoch's. This is the problem with too many tabloids being owned by too few people. Indeed this keeps proving the same for any industry but now standing out in media in particular. Of course abs like I remarked upon previously when quoting Edward Snowden in that no one wants to do anything about anyone rich and powerful other than asking awkward questions and calling them evil. IF they turn up that is otherwise someone under them gets called names and receives a salary to do things like that.

I am not a socialist as such really but if people with too much money and power cannot be held accountable then maybe there is an argument for more communist like systems employed. If anyone wants to complain then point at the heads of the companies that abused their positions and power.

Things cannot continue like this or a deep seated anger brewing under the surface that I am sure had been brewing up for someone already. In fact I am rather pleasantly surprised there had not been more trouble on the streets during 2013. So at least that is a bonus. Unless of course there had been but somehow the TV media have managed to find things of far more importance to cover.

But for now we will just continue on while every single person I know in a non-internet capacity well continue to worry about bills and compassion they ate not making or bringing in enough cash...as I said previously it cannot continue on as it is.

All the people who have paid the highest of prices for the mistakes of those in power will emerge from it with a different outlook on things...and politics. Unfortunately these things always come too late to change things and have a tendency to get out if hand. Largely due to the numbers of people affected in a short space of time. Umm except it has been a very long time with no end in sight. Whatever will take place in the future and when this blog along with these posts, words, audio, scans and emails will be here and dated as to when I posted them and therefore when I stated them!

So when the powers that be do what they did over the banking crisis when it started, taken the piss out of by comedians like Jasper Carrot, "Well we could not have seen that one coming!"

In fact I am hoping that many of the 1200 plus posts and rising will catch them out, along with many others to boot, over and over again?!

Lol!
