A SERIES OF PECULIAR EVENTS (PART 3) IN THE RETAIL INDUSTRY
- I was sold a Motorola Atrix smartphone by Very Catalogue which was not only refurbished but had a dozen faults! They then ignored me half the time, got cocky with me, become patronizing and then got clever stating I was using a BOT, computer algorithms designed to simulate a human, then ignored me completely. They then later took me to court and lied through their teeth about the truth and then LOST! I also had a blu-ray player from them that was curiously out of date and came in a tatty box and I paid over £250 to Littlewoods for I then saw for sale for £80! Their rules are not transefrable between companies Isme, Littlewoods or Very (all same company) when it suits them and then are when it suits them. Offers did not work across catalogues and your credit limit was higher on catalogues that place a higher premium on Retail Prices. Yes the morons advertise up different Retail Prices for same product across different catalogues and even within the same catalogue, though online only.
- Sold four or five cameras in a row by Argos that were all refurbished but advertised as new. Recordings of a fair number of conversations … oooh crap I just remembered I have to find the Nikon conversations too, which was very bizarre indeed and they changed their story right at the end! Two Nikon P510s, one Olympus SP 820 (both models top bridge cameras) and one Nikon L310 … or L210?! Cannot remember model name, lol. So four cameras then Martin? Dumb-arse!
- Sold a Bionaire Electric Fan from B&Q that was a top of the line fan which had damage out of the box and failed in ten months! They were unable to replace it with same model from Bionaire, just as Argos were unable to do with their cameras, which meant that they are not being supplied by the manufacturers.
- I was also sold a metal framed professional computer keyboard by PC World that was also sold to me as new but was refurbished as the metal frame had a buckle in a vital point of it, next to the volume wheel. The keyboard was a Corsair K70 Vengeance Keyboard.

A NEW TRICK
Imagine getting your new iPod in its box home, opening it up and finding that instead of an iPod or iPhone all the box contained were rubber erasers?
RESULT!! YES I KNOW!
But some might have been quite understandably a little upset. This not only happened to someone but that when the site guy agreed to give him a new one he made him open it up just to check before leaving the store.
More rubber erasers and no iPod!
I kid you not!
It just shows that there are a great deal of tricks being pulled and even I have been victims to a while hissy of tricks and skulduggery. Though with mine the companies were quite obviously in on the scam. This was true of Argos, Littlewoods, Very, Isme and B&Q. Likely others to but I have not had it from PC World/Curry's yet and have now bought at least 5 products thus far and only hiccup was one of three Advent Tetra Note 7 Tablets failed to charge but was changed with no problems.
Darn I forgot to look at the phones and just remembered something else I need to do online, Lol. Bloody Fibro Fog!

NIKON FAILS FOR THE LAST TIME
I had hoped that the failure might have been down to the battery form the FIRST camera but alas, no.
I am not prepared to go through this for a FIFTH TIME in 6 months and want a full refund. I could not put a figure on how many photos I have missed out on but even in the time I have had these artistic shots have gone out the window as I did not setup the camera how I wanted it due to not wanting to waste my time with a camera that yet again turned out to be faulty.
Once Argos HQ realise that the last email I sent to them was about the LATEST camera and NOT THE previous camera and telling me they are glad I finally sorted out my problem I will have to decide what to do.
There is no local Jessops as they went bust and I do not know of any local camera stores. There is Park Cameras, I think they are called, in Bristol that advertise in photography magazines I might try them.
But after everything I have been through I really, REALLY do not want to buy ANYTHING electrical unless I see it FIRST!!

COLLECTING THE FOURTH FAULTY CAMERA FROM ARGOS
A lady decided to deal with me and a chap that looked, dressed and acted like the manager suddenly went extremely tight lipped and did not utter a word?!
DO you think he may have been warned I had been recording my visits? LMAO!
Well he stayed tight lipped until I was leaving the store and he passed me and said 'thanks, bye' which you can probably pick up on the tape.
SO the models of camera are:
Nikon Coolpix L810
Olympus SP-820UZ
Nikon Coolpix P520
Nikon Coolpix P520

ARGOS CAMERA EMAILS GOING
> From: Order.Enquiries@argos.co.uk
> To: saintallnights@hotmail.com
> Subject: re:
I am in store and you lied to me by saying it was down to them in store.
They are now stating that it needs to go off for testing and inspection without looking at it either.
I think i will just take it to court for a loss of 5,000 in lost photos and earnings.
Martin Haswell BSc
We may have another problem and now I am about to blow as this has gone beyond a joke.
Just like the last Nikon this has a sticker on it that is not put there by Nikon!
Added to this I have noticed marks on the lens, easy to video and ger photos of by simply breathing on the lens the marks show clearly.
It gets worse as the camera is taking a bloody long time to focus!
In my book three strikes and your out!! If a firmware update does not sort the problem I am sending my YouTube and website account details to the national tabloids.
Like I told the mamageress today Argos should be worrying about being sued for loss if earnings.
I simply cannot believe that I have my third camera and have problems!
Martin Haswell

ARGOS CAMERA PRICE DISCREPANCIES
...mind you I have no idea whether anyone took any notice or whether or not someone ran off and made a name for themselves with a story they claimed was theirs, lol.
But these morons are not very good a cheating and it is as if they think the British Public are so brain-dead, naive or just too plain busy to notice but the prices are all over the place and DO NOT make sense.
If this is more widely KNOWN, even IF not reported about, then this is a large scale reason as to WHY the public is not spending any money. Or one of them at any rate.
There no follows TWP screen shots from the ARGOS phone app for the same DSLR Canaon Camera model 1100D.
But note that the body ONLY one is actually DEARER IN PRICE than the one that comes with a LENS?!
LMAO!

ROBIN BANKS
Well after some careful deliberation I have realised that some careers and more popular as well as acceptable among the wider public. Many I have seen follow this path so I think I may alter what I am doing and do the same thing albeit slightly different?!
I think the career path I will switch to is ROBBING BANKS?!
Because ROBBING PEOPLE seems to be acceptable if your a bank or a large retailers and over the next month or two this may look more and more the case to me and from my point of view.
So how would an individual going out and stealing from the THIEVES be deemed any different?! In fact I would start seeing this as even MORE ACCEPTABLE as they may well have a long list of excuses, I know that I DO?!
That is the state that consecutive governments have got us into and need to BOTH put up and shut up. DO not create factions of people through your naivety, blindness and arrogance and then whine and whinge like stuck pigs about it.
I have had THREE cameras from Argos and all are faulty and now I noticed that when I cleaned there dirty lens there is a tiny mark that does not come off with a micro-fibre cloth, not that it bloody matters a jot anyway. It maybe small but its enough to alter a fair amount of the photons passing through the lens and is not acceptable and absolutely disgusting that they cannot even make sure the lenses are OK.
The attitude towards this and being found out to be up to what they are doing is incredible, it really and truly is. In fact the replies of both Nikon UK and Argos Customer Services has been a real eye opener so if the current ones I have sent off are not .... baring any fruit then I shall have to get more....INVENTIVE.
After all I have not given them links to the videos on YouTube yet, lol.

NIKON & ARGOS COMMUNIQUES
Nikon pissed me off by asking me to send along the photos of the problems when I had already clearly stated that the camera FROZE but pictures were perfect.
Also note that Argos have people in store that can 'LOOK INTO IT' when actually they have no ability to do ANYTHING OF THE KIND!
My emails have not been kind and have become even more insulting and will get worse the more they speak like morons and treating me like one of their own?!
