ANOTHER REFURBISHED PRODUCT

Well I have had a bloody hell of a week. Physically and emotionally.

Looks like I might have several hellish weeks and maybe even months?

Anyway while this was going on I had to replace a faulty smartphone with one I can trust, one that has the apps to control both my cameras and wont mind a little water. The way things are going if I end up homeless my health may cause situations where I will have to phone for an ambulance, lol. Also my GP has phoned me and sometimes the call does not come through and neither do messages at times.

So without going into stupid amounts of money, but was still pricey, I decided after much deliberation to stick with the manufacturer I have used since I had a StarTac phone, Motorola.

I had also run out of memory on my old 8GB Moto G so many times it was beyond funny and bloody well annoying most of the time! So this time a 32GB phone and with an SD Card slot would be the only way.

I had thought about the Moto X Force, as it is supposed to be unbreakable, but there were a couple of things about it I was not sure of. One of them the price as it was more expensive than the other Moto X's. So I decided on the Moto X Style.

I did not know when I ordered it that I might end up homeless, hopefully momentarily, in the near future so I could not enjoy the phone as one normally would. I had hoped that it might alleviate some of the anxiety but no, not really.

The phone turned up on a same day delivery option and I noticed straight away the white box was a bit grubby. I also noticed an really grubby square patch over the edge of the box and the alarm bells started to ring.

The phone looked OK though and it did not have much power so I plugged it in. Only the charge logo was going on and off and with this having a turbo charging mode, as they call it, I thought maybe it worked in some pulsating method? A bit like ABS brakes do sort of thing?

By the next day I realised that the phone was indeed faulty. It charged normally only when the micro USB plug was pulled half way out of the phone's socket. The tightest part when you are insertibg the socket before it gives and goes the rest of the way in.

The following morning I had to go out again to help a friend with something that was killing me, despite only spending around an hour or two each day helping. I had some very peculiar black-outs too. I had already been to the Citizen's Advice the day before for help so this would be the last day helping and finishing what should have taken a couple of hours.

Upon finishing my friend wanted me to stay longer but I was dead beat and my left thigh was not working properly. Like when your legs are going to give way when your blind drunk, stoned to high heaven or your muscle has gone to sleep. It was wobbly and then some.

So I came home hobbling very badly and slowly on my trusted walking stick. Bizarrely I was only home about ten minutes when there was a kock at the door. It was an Amazon delivery and I remember thinking how fast it was that the SD Card and white case I ordered had turned up. I was a bit confused I had to sign for the package and upon walking up my stairs I then realised that the box had a bit of weight to it. I remember thinking "wait? This is not a replacement phone?! Nahh I only emailed them around 6 hours or so beforehand.

I opened it up and it was indeed another phone. Only this box was shrink wrapped where the other one was not. I took it out and it looked a nice and clean box but then when I tried to open the lid it would not do so. Confused I looked and then I noticed that this box had a Motorola seal on the side of the box where the last box had a grubby square that looked like adhesive that had gotten dirty.

This one charged up normally!

Here is a couple of videos where I open up the first phone from within its Amazon labelled cardboard box and then the other video I have both boxes, showing a seal on one and missing on the other box.

I do have another video I think but will have to retrieve that one.

Oh and in case you missed it? I covered this many times before with refurbished goods being sold as new ones at new prices and they have always been faulty.

Argos the worst with four cameras in a row, then PC World followed by Littlewoods and Very Catalogues and B&Q and now Amazon! Unbelievable rife this refurb scam is.

Annoyingly they did not ask for the other phone, which I had not factory reset anyway. So I have the annoying job of sending the faulty one back ... so they can fob someone else of with it? Lol.

I require paper glue and only glue I do not have, lol.

THE DOUGHNUTS AT PC WORLD

Fucking morons!

That's what they are at PC World.

After being told to go down to the local store, which I've now done the times, and one very recently to get receipt numbers that they were unable to find after several emails they have asked me to go down again?!

Now exactly why they could bit tell me to take the third piece of crap they sold me down to the local PC World store when I went down there a couple of days ago God only knows!!

They said "we just need the receipt and then we will pay you a refund"!

I informed the owners of the device only yesterday that I would give them the money myself as I have the money and that I would not need it for awhile anyway but they refused.

They have already now managed to replace the devices with one daughter, now hating tablets due to these three, and deciding on a laptop and the other daughter still deciding on a tablet and plumbing for a Samsung Tab 2. Far less powerful than the tablets we had but because of the name they paid more money, £120, than they did for the ADVENT VEGA (anagram of EVGA the manufacturers) TEGRA NOTE 7.

They stated that they ONLY needed the receipt numbers as I already offered to film all three side by side with their faults!

Now some idiot has decided that they are going to get me running around again!

I will never, and I advise anyone reading this to do the same, ever but anything electrical for anyone in future unless children or family. This is because 90% of what I have purchased in recent years and all from Argos, PC World, B&Q, Littlewoods Catalogue and Very Catalogue the ones that I remember, and of course know of, is all refurbished as well as faulty and sites not come first from the manufacturers directly anyway.

In fact only ONE of the devices I have purchased in recent years was new and from Sony. That device is two years old now, was dropped on the floor and somersaulted while cycling at 13mph and still bloody works!! Hmm did I mention it was a large 50x zoom bridge camera?!

Yup....SOMERSAULTED!

Every other device I have purchased have not performed in anyway as good as this one and I can even state this regarding the first few hours to 6 months at the outside. Except for a Blu-Ray player made by Samsung that has long been discontinued when I bought it but was unaware of at the time. It also arrived in a very beat up box not to mention I discovered it for sale on Amazon for half the price that Littlewoods Catalogue sold it to me for, minus any interested on the hire purchase agreement.
What with knowing this now for several years and that all the ombudsman that do nothing and never any intention to it drives me absolutely wild when morons want to point the finger and the financial troubles at groups of people whose amount of money is a fucking piss in the ocean compared to what's owed and what is being taking for services not provided elsewhere.

Of course I am speaking of the welfare state here and I can guarantee that they only do this anyway because of the real idiot scum on it that amount to about 1% or because foreigners have grossly abused it while British born people get little or nothing. I've covered enough evidence and details of this on this blog so not going to delve into that!

Also I keep having to explain that if 80% of everything is refurbished and faulty shite then what you are earning in your job is not what it says it is. Don't get it?

OK, your 500 quid is not worth enough to buy you a 500 quid TV because you get a refurbished faulty one only worth 250 quid and that is provided it WORKS!!

NOW GET IT?!

Everything else that you cannot get conned or tricked on has gone UP!! Think intangible things, like gas and electric. Oh you have to also think of what you have no choice but to buy, so food bills.

Now I have detailed this several times in the last two years and yet even now with a general election less than a month away I have not seen a journalist anywhere in tabloids or TV News mention this!
But I have pointed it out several times?! What, they mid the point? What, are they all crap at research? What, there are bloody hundreds talking on the Internet about this though not raised the full implications of it, they have not put two and two together?!

I shake my head in disbelief and have done more times than I can count and yet I hear crap in the news that's issue gossip. I hear stuff about predictions that's priced to be wrong 90% of the time! I even witness wrong wearer predictions! Lol!

Everywhere I look everyone seems and is CLUELESS!

You have absolutely no idea how depressing that last fact is and just got much I do want it to be changed. It's a lonely planet I live on and I do wish there at least some populace here. Even just to break to the constant din of a howling wind!

Anyhoo, here is the email where I explode at PC World at doing this and insinuate that I have discovered some unexpected things about them...err and a bank, while trying to sorry out and do their jobs for them because they are all incompetent, or badly fucking around because they think everyone else incompetent, no people it's the other way around when your dealing with me!

EMAILS ...

Dear Sirs

I have spoken to someone from your office who was very helpful.

However your....let's call it 'system' for now had thrown up some very peculiar and inaccurate things.
Now I'm not going to go into them right now and I now have the receipts to the two purchases. The plan was that I was to give you one and that you only expected one.

HOWEVER! I asked for both receipts and I am afraid to say that the confusion gets worse!!
Again I am not going to dwell on this!

Now instead I am giving you BOTH receipt numbers and you can work out what's going on... it is AFTER ALL both YOUR SYSTEM and a COMPUTER SYSTEM for PC World?!
The numbers are ...
1 - 01***4 (27/12/2013)
2 - 05***3 (01/12/2013)
Now I trust nor that you can...finally sort out this remaining tablet?
I hour to bloody God you don't say these are the two I was previously refunded for because it will be the exact opposite to what had previously been stated on the phone and you really don't want me exploding with what I now have in my possession.
Yours

Dear Paul Evans
Hmm, the only odd message I had was from someone called Adam on my newly installed landline number I have not yet given to anyone.
I changed my number to Virgin Media, like my landline number, because Three Mobile did something very bad, very naughty and then lied about it to its customers, something tthat many big companies thinks is totally acceptable and the norm these days and I am afraid this will not do. No, no, no. I have a blog where I have been recording everything and everyone for several years, more than 5, and have records going back 20 years. I publish all I suspect on my blog and readers watch as I very literally go through every step to tricking them using the truth and catching them out.
Sou might have an old number, my new number is ...

Thanks.

Dear Mr Haswell,
Thank you for your email dated 1st April 2015.
Prior to my email I have attempted to contact you on your mobile number, however this went to voicemail.
I am sorry to learn of the problems you are having with your Advent tablets.  After checking our systems I have found some purchase information, however I am only able to locate 2 receipts, which it seems you have received a payment on both for 2 separate out of warranty claims.  The reference numbers for these claims are CC25****5 & CC2****11.  As this is a third claim we would require the receipt for this product.  Please provide the receipt information for the third tablet and we will be able to process a out of warranty claim for you.
Thank you for taking the time to contact us, please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
Kind regards,

Dear Sirs
Sorry I am finding it hard making the time to get back to you.
I am still trying to locate the receipt too...
However one thing that I could do is film all three of the Advent Tegra Notes, put them on YouTube and then provide you with the link so that you can then go and see them for yourselves...failing that I have not found the receipt.
I say this, before you reply and wrongly inform me that it cannot be done this way, because the receipts are on your system and do not try denying this please because I was recently refunded for two products that were not bought together, and yet two were! Therefore you have already issued a refund using the receipt I am looking for.
Also the products have your Logo on them and you are the sole sellers of these tablets in the UK.
In tha meantime I will search and get back to you in the next couple of days.
Yours sincerely

Dear Sirs
I contacted you previously regarding two of the three faulty Advent Tegra Note Tablets which you kindly sorted out for me by refunding the money ...
REF:
CC 2*****1 &CC*****025
Well one I purchased the first one, my one, it looked so impressive to a married couple I know that they requested I pick them up two for their two daughters as Christmas presents. Lo and behold they were rturned umpteen times for repair.
Well after I had been in the store I was informed by the mother that she suspected that the third one had failed again. The younger daughter never had the tablet out of her hands but lately was mooching around the house without it. It turned out that this third
Advent Vega tegra Note 7 was also faulty.
I now have this device in my possession and I see that it has a very curious looking bubble under the screen I have not seen before. I can only assume that this is the liquid crystal which has leaked from the thin layer it is normally located in.
I am not sure if the item comes on at all but have it plugged in as I type, but another curious things about these devices is that they refuse to turn on when plugged in for about ten minutes of the battery is drained.
I have included a picture of the curious looking bubble.
This is a shame because this younger daughter absolutely adored this device, as did I, but has been so...sad that they have ben such dreadful failures as tablets.
It also leaves a tricky situation as one daughter is about to get a new tablet while the remaining one has to wait so see if I can sort out a out of warranty reapir or refund for her device.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely

Dear Sirs
ADVENT TEGRA NOTES (PLURAL)
I am emailing you regards two Tegran Notes out of three that need repairing for the third time each and are over the one year period.
I contacted you about this previously over this and to point out the potential of a very embarrassing and damining situation that could very well occur from all this as all three items have failed for the exact same things over and over again and I had a previoous
row with your company over selling goods as refurbished..
Please, please, please do not get that highly offensive idiot that called me previous to be rude and sound fecking stupid on the phone where I had to record him and then run rings around him and make him look like the twat that he is.
Now I have been unable to bring in the devices before because I have a disability and a series of other health issues that all flared up and with a huge battle with a public service also corrupt who completely folded in and paid me thousands of pounds and about
to do so again. They are one of just many I have exposed and this year is going to be somewhat...shocking. My disabilty consists of 120 odd symptoms belonging to just one condition of several I have and one symptom being short term memory issues.
So in any event of a media war and legal war between us be under no illusions to who has all the aces and all the proof. Regardless of your size, money and owners I assure you it will not end well for you. I have beaten far bigger corporations than you and
far more dangerous corporations than you and during the rest of 2015 will defeat a whole string of them that will draw a lot of attention to both me and more importantly my blogs. So not a good time to argue with me and force me gaze and focus upon you for
the next few months...especially with the documents I have going up in May a few weeks before the General Election.
Trust me when I am understating it and not even describing its huge size and braod spectrum all that well and believe me when I state that if you think your some be all and end all company that cannot be touched...well, lol, there are people and organisations
on my list that would shut the feck up anyone who was lauging at this point or taking the piss...see for yourselves and keep an eye on it ...
asaintcalledallnights.blogspot.com
Now to avoid any...situations upon entering your store with these products I want you to realise this situation and be agreeable to it as well as prep the store staff in Enfield, Middlesex on the situation. Now we would not want amy embarrassing situations
to occur. Well I should say you wouldn't? I really do not care and embarrassing situations is why I have in just a couple of years humdreds of thousands of people reading my words. Another year or two from now will be millions...I assure you as I have just
spent £3,500 in two weeks on gadgets and toys to help me with that and I already had an impressive collection. I am spending £3,000 over the nect two months too on even more toys to help me achieve even more and a lot more often.
So if you could please be so kind to actually get back to me to say that these devices can be returned without...incident, well then I would be grateful because one of these belongs to a friend's daughter they bought on my recommendation. A recommendation I
made I have been made to look utterly stupid over. And being made to look utterly stupid is something I rather do not take too kindly too, of this I assure you!
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours

Dear Sirs
I purchased three of the above named tablets just prior to Christmas 2013.
Within weeks two of them had to be exchanged. Within a couple of months two more had to have their batteries replaced. Within another couple of months another one needed a battery replaced.
To cut a long story short I have been through nine of these devices in less than a year.
Now as these are exclusive to you in the UK and I'm well aware they were manufactured by EVGA for nVidia under licence I should not have to explain just how embarrassing this fiasco should be to you. If you have any conscience at all that is and as its become
clearly obvious to me in recent years that you are selling new goods that were mostly not new it should be clearly obvious that I am none too pleased with you or indeed the people that let you get away with this.
So you can imagine how I feel over the fact that as of very moment...
1 I have yet another device that has had a battery fail...
2 After my own has escaped the battery problem it is now refusing to charge and had an area of the touch screen which is faulty!
Now as both a software engineer and a hardware engineer educated to BSc Single Honours Degree I can tell you with absolute certainty that I have never been so shocked and disgusted in all my life with the quality of hardware I have purchased.
I can also tell you that it has not escaped my notice that supposed tech journalists have failed to mention at all the issues with this model tablet either here in the UK or just America. Nor has this issue been mentioned in the latest iteration of this tablet,
the nVidia Shield?!
I can tell you also that not only can I rectify this issue but I have been doing exactly that for several years now and of late seem to find myself repeatedly dealing with you! You already sold me not only a used Corsair Vengeance K70 Keyboard but that had
a large bend in the metal frame! A bend that could only have been caused by a drop from a very great height while outside its packaging.
Also I had a phone call from a member of your staff at your head office but also a rude and brain dead one too!
Now I strongly suggest when you reply you do not insult my intelligence.
I would like to know what you intend to do about the latest failures with these two tablets and your assurance that your not going to just replace the batteries with what are so obviously done sub standard shite as you did last time?
Yours
Martin Haswell BSc

THE NAMES PLONK... JAMES PLONK

Another 'I told you so' and twice in ten minutes! Lol!

I told everyone I know long ago when I started over 4 years ago and once after a comment of 'Your bit James Bond!' and annoyed by this I answered 'no James Bond wishes he was me!' before going on to say '... and you say I watch too much TV... which is funny for someone that had a living room devoid of a TV!

I had many people... or egos would be a more accurate description who works day all manner of things when I started. This was fueled by the fact I already had a large number of jealous people lying shut me in an attempt to degrade my goals reached or abilities in the past. Awhile before I started my serious involvements with MI5 and GCHQ though brief they may have been.

They also stated that I would not get anywhere.

That those I attacked would not give a shit, read 'be phased' regarding my attacks. Find out if this was right in 24 hours.

That I would not get anything beyond the rules laid out...err, read about that one in twenty four hours.
Hmm I wonder if a reader from here had done me the greatest of courtesies by making an effort to prove true that which I have already explained. It's not like the movies?! Lmao!

Oh of you did? Thanks. Well if you didn't... thanks anyway! Lol!

So someone pretended to be the head of GCHQ and got through to David Cameron?! Lol! My Good God... you really cannot make this shit up?! Lol, in fact that could have been a title to this blog? 'You Cannot Make This Shit Up....Dossier'? Lol!

I actually laughed out loud when I heard that after a few seconds he put the phone down, no doubt remembering the fiasco with the fake Queen phone call and of course an election coming up?!
Not that I think it would do him much good?! Write the opposite as a matter of fact...a shame he did take as he may have stated something like..

"Oh fuck the terrorists...these are the names of the private companies I have told the NSA/CIA I would listen in on so that they can perform a hostile take over at the most financially  beneficial time while we sell more of their sub standard returned electronic goods through Argos, PC World, Shop Direct and B&Q!"

Now that would have been so very cool and would finally get everyone believing in me and the knowledge I possess become much more widely known at a much faster rate?

Though in all honesty this may well happen in the next few days or few weeks? You will have to wait for that post of revealing things in the next 24 hours or so.

A SERIES OF PECULIAR EVENTS (PART 3) IN THE RETAIL INDUSTRY

Now a day later than planned, you just have to love life eh, I am now going to compile another set of photos, screenshots and links to audio.

I am having serious issues with the Internet and will be down the Three store to let them know I am not happy. Well as soon as I am able and now that I have finally managed to copy and paste this into a post (except this additional sentence) I may be visiting them today? The situation is absolutely ludicrous with the Internet. I have now noticed that as well as the posts that I was informed last night could not be posted up on my blog, no media content involved so just text, I am now on my desktop and note that also the ones that said they had been posted have actually not posted at all!

I did a detailed post last night of how the Peculiar Series was going to go over the next few days …

Retails Stores
Ombudsman
Local Councils
DWP & Atos
The Police
Mystery Post or TWO

All media and links to be posted in their own posts and collectively.

May be a good idea to point out that I have been shifting things around and I am now sure there are half a dozen audio files at least I forgot, read missed, to link in to the previous NHS one! These are the ones I DID rename and not part of the long list of ones I forgot to rename!

So I am going to do Retail Stores this time around, just to get another post up and have me feel like I am getting somewhere.

Now to do a little recall here I was ..

  1. I was sold a Motorola Atrix smartphone by Very Catalogue which was not only refurbished but had a dozen faults! They then ignored me half the time, got cocky with me, become patronizing and then got clever stating I was using a BOT, computer algorithms designed to simulate a human, then ignored me completely. They then later took me to court and lied through their teeth about the truth and then LOST! I also had a blu-ray player from them that was curiously out of date and came in a tatty box and I paid over £250 to Littlewoods for I then saw for sale for £80! Their rules are not transefrable between companies Isme, Littlewoods or Very (all same company) when it suits them and then are when it suits them. Offers did not work across catalogues and your credit limit was higher on catalogues that place a higher premium on Retail Prices. Yes the morons advertise up different Retail Prices for same product across different catalogues and even within the same catalogue, though online only.
  2. Sold four or five cameras in a row by Argos that were all refurbished but advertised as new. Recordings of a fair number of conversations … oooh crap I just remembered I have to find the Nikon conversations too, which was very bizarre indeed and they changed their story right at the end! Two Nikon P510s, one Olympus SP 820 (both models top bridge cameras) and one Nikon L310 … or L210?! Cannot remember model name, lol. So four cameras then Martin? Dumb-arse!
  3. Sold a Bionaire Electric Fan from B&Q that was a top of the line fan which had damage out of the box and failed in ten months! They were unable to replace it with same model from Bionaire, just as Argos were unable to do with their cameras, which meant that they are not being supplied by the manufacturers.
  4. I was also sold a metal framed professional computer keyboard by PC World that was also sold to me as new but was refurbished as the metal frame had a buckle in a vital point of it, next to the volume wheel. The keyboard was a Corsair K70 Vengeance Keyboard.

So there is a run down of what happened but there were a great deal of phone conversations and obviously and especially where Argos was concerned a great deal of conversations in store.

What is especially funny is how the seemingly nice and understandable manager at the local Argos then later tells Argos HQ, according to Argos HQ, that I checked the camera was working in store!

I had a mate in fits of laughter when I then ripped crap out of the cocky so and so on the phone and pointed out that first off how the feck can I test cameras out of the box with flat batteries, that I was deciding between two different cameras and not testing them anyway and that I had recorded the whole conversation and can send them a copy if they wish! Now what my mate was laughing at when I came off the phone is how the cocky attitude changed to 'suits you sir' upon hearing these three things and said that he must have felt like an idiot!

He then realised that these are the kinds of conversations I have had with Local Councils, the Police, the NHS and various Doctors, the DWP & Atos (all of which to come) and many others besides.

Every time I was kicked off a GP Surgery list all my friends would burst out laughing while I am stating this with a smile on my face! “Ooh what's happening with you lately?” then me going “oh yeah I umm well got kicked off another idiot Doctors surgery who thinks that Medical Degrees trump all others and makes them smarter and superior to everyone else!” (BIG GRIN)

I dare say the questions of “You been kicked off yet?” are going to now occur for months?! Oddly I wont be getting myself kicked off this time and hence why I will be asked for months!

Ooh but saying that I do have an odd letter here asking me to pick up my prescription from Lloyds Chemist who I have not used for … quite some time!

Oooh I almost forgot ... a friends family has bought two things from Argos in the last two weeks! A Barbecue for a party, when opened had several things missing and returned to the store, and a seat for a lady dying of cancer which also had things missing and it had to be returned top the store.

For someone dying of cancer?! That is awful, truly awful!

The following recording was a B&Q conversation and not sure if this was on the phone or in the store, I do lose track of many things and at time fairly often too.

I think I have some missing, not gone just not renamed, lol.

Anyway here are some … screenshots of emails … mostly Very Catalogue ..

Some videos of faulty cameras and phones lol ..

Ooh forgot I did video of the Nikon L810 (not L310 like I have ben calling it!)

If you see  seal on the box this is not put their by Nikon so some outfit refurbishes them, fecking badly, and sends them out to retail stores to be sold as new products.

NIKON P520 (two of these I had and after a Nikon L310!) ..

Olympus SP 820 ..

PHONE ..

Nikon conversations ... and note the lst letter they alter their story ...

A few receipts first lol ...

Oh and Motorola confirming what I already knew.

By the way in case you missed it, the manufactureres know this is going on and are quite happy with it happening!
