A SIGN OF THE TIMES

I got a notification about the little titbit of news earlier today.

The government is going through a cabinet reshuffle and there was one single thing that stood out.

One single person, as far as I can tell, refused a position that we offered ..

Justine Greening refused the job as Work & Pensions Secretary.

This will be good news for everyone on Universal Credit, all other benefits and disabled people. Well those left alive that is.

In about a week or two in going to actually be homeless, anyone with any advice please comment below.

Remember I've been on disability twice and I've not only had several Doctors, some A&E Doctors, but I also have a solicitor specialising in disability. I've put her up to date ahead of time so hopefully she can be of help. She was horrified last time I spoke to her .. think she may pass out this time?!

I sometimes wonder what goes through the minds of late of those that genuinely work for certain groups. Not the ones that just use an organisation as a career and don't give a crap about those they are tasked to help.

Funny how she also resigned, is it not?

The question is ..

Was she forced to resign because she refused the position .. or did she hear something she was so disgusted with she resigned? Like something else they are planning to do with the DWP and she wanted no association with it whatsoever?

Interesting also is a report I read that stated that Jeremy Corbyn will be Prime Minister before the end of 2018.

Though this was against there silly polls the story did make done kind of sense.

It was based on the yearly sales of cars, new ones I presume?

Basically the number of car sales declined. I am sure it also says it was the first time or the first in a while.

The person who made the report claimed that the sales have always shown a more accurate measure of consumer confidence.

If so then the fact it has dropped means a lot.

I have always posted about the DWP and benefits and not so much on small businesses .. or larger ones for that matter.

But if I'm honest I've heard a great many things that I thought would end up putting a lot of pressure on businesses, especially small ones.

One example is this work based pension thing .. ey. I hear the advert on the radio still and it states that even if you employ one person you have to provide a pension.

Now with the taxes, VAT and business rates being what they are, especially in London, then this can't be easy?

Then there is running vehicles?!

I had two shocks when I got my car .. the insurance cost which had gone from £450 odd for an Alfa Romeo 3.0 V6 to £2,000 odd for a Land Rover Discovery 2.7 Diesel.

Added to this my road tax went from £170 to £550?!

That's private and light goods for God's sake!

What the hell are taxi, mini-cab and vans paying?! Lorries too?!

I'd be scared shitless to start a company where a lot of running around in a vehicle had to take place on a daily basis!

I'd be scared double shitless if I had to employ someone else to do this or have two!

I just don't see what the Tories think they are getting out of screwing everyone?

What confuses me even further is that after all this time they just don't see it?!

Since speaking to people in the North West, one guy I know now fed up and planning on making a shocking and ultimate sacrifice, I've now been on the phone to many in London and Essex.

One friend of mine who works .. now tells me horror stories and .. the stories are not good.

He went on to say that things are so bad now everyone is talking about it.

My mates not the healthiest of people and older than I am. He's for issues with several things and had trouble with his leg or legs.

Now if I recall correctly .. he was forced into this particular job and he gets so much pressure from it, it doesn't bare thinking about.

I've also now found out that two family members who have both worked for years have been out under a lot of pressure. As a result they started getting anxiety like I did years ago. Luckily this bothered them while they were working and fortunately not bad enough for them to want to quit. Or not leave the house. Or not leave the bedroom!

I've had those last two!

It's bloody funny how it occurs .. I've had so many occasions where I have not been affected by it for a long time and you fool yourself into thinking it won't ever happen again. Then .. BOOM!!

Also of interest is that my two siblings are affected the same way as I am?!

One was telling me earlier today that she spoke with my brother and that they were shocked that they both woke up early each morning for periods with anxiety. I think she said 6am or 8am.

I do feel sorry for them but then I'm envious too that they have partners and children. This can keep the anxiety at bay during the day. To a point.

Too many children and too active to the point where you get tired and it will make it worse.

That's a Fibromyalgia thing .. in fact it's a bloody golden rule!

Sit on your arse and it will get worse .. do too much and it will get worse.

The absolute golden rule Fibromyalgia specialists tell you is just a single word ..

PACING!

It is true to .. I can vouch for that personally .. I've had it so many times over the years that when I'm overdoing it for days at a time I'm heading for trouble.

I had a walk in a park today .. it was bloody cold, duck lake was frozen in parts. Frost was over most of the grass. But it was so relaxing.

But then I got tired easily later doing some other crap.

I'll have to have more conversations about the early morning anxiety with my siblings.

I also wonder that with the way things are right now how many others are waking between 4am and 8am with intense anxiety before they have even consciously thought about anything and wondered what in the hell is going on?

Rocketing numbers of Fibromyalgia cases anyone?

I saw this on the BBC and thought you should see it: Cabinet reshuffle: Justine Greening resigns from government - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-42597785
