WINDOWS HATE PART ELEVENTY

Well here we go again!

You know I think that people in power and with far too much money are just so fecking stubborn that it is going to take something drastic for them to stand to attention like someone had just shoved smelling salts deep into their nostrils?!

Now in computing I have always been with the Windows camp of Operating Systems exceptor when it's mobile devices, well apart from the first smartphone which was Windows Mobile, sorry Apple no way before your iPhone. Since then my next stint was with Android OS and this was followed by three more. Only now I am wanting to move week away from Android add they are slowly ruining the operating system. I also won't waste the huge suns they charge for magazines now because the reviewers seem to be way off the mark for one reason our another?!

Just today I bought Micro Mart magazine after it failing to materialize write bizarrely last week! Several visitors to two major stores over several days and a couple of weekly magazine failed to arrive! The stores were Sainsburys and WH Smith and that was the bizarre part. Anyway today I bought it because it talked about a APU processor codenamed Kaveri and compared it with an Intel Haswell chip, yes there is a processor with my family name just add there is an amphibian thigh I do not know why, Lol. In the article though it praised the Kaveri APU it completely failed to talk about, therefore consider, two of the major technologies involved with Kaveri. Technologies that will be used due to the fact they exist in the Microsoft XBox One and PS4.

So incomplete is one thing I have noticed about reviews in recent times, biased is another with one magazine that is in contrast to that of the magazine's primary focus which includes gaming and the very sane chip. They are biased and have now been priced wrong by several reviewers on YouTube and various sites. What they champion is two other chips by two different companies which you have to pay more for for each one to get the same result in gaming.

Bear in mind this dues bit even take into account the clever technologies included in the cheaper chip, nor is the fact that for another 70 quid you can add to the having power quite significantly and that those that they suggest you buy you will so absolutely no visual difference in gaming for your extra cash.

Stupid and amateurish and bizarrely biased is what it is.

Therefore when I walk into Sainsburys and am tempted to buy a technology magazine which were two quid years ago and now 6 quid or more I think that I will get it gone and dot many things missing from reviews and many things missing in group tests two! No question mark at the end of that last sentence because I came home with two magazines, one is a note expensive one called PC Format, and found this to be true in both! In fact at the end of the section of a Solid State Disk Drive group test they even knew their group test was way incomplete and have excuses at the end for some of their inclusions as well as some of their omissions!

If you do this, using the excuse of things not arriving in time, then you are not fully informing your readers. For the cover prices charged this is abysmal! Don't do it, it's as simple as that!

These days I tend to read reviews on Amazon and look for items that have a large number of reviews that have several tens of review but preferably several hundred. The higher the reviewers with the overall high score then the more assured you can be that this is an ace product and all you have to worry about is the price!

Again I was talking to a local friend about this and the fact that even today I still get people looking at year old videos of my faulty cameras sold to me as new and leave comments the same has happened to them?!

Then I pointed out that if you think about it if people are still coming across videos and posts that are over a year old then this shows how the more I add in content the higher the wetly and monthly figures rise. He then realised how the blogs and my YouTube account have the potential now to be huge and therefore being able to reach and help a lot of people.

I always tell people that you cannot reach everyone. There will always be naive idiots that simply cannot see the wood for the trees, well until their friends read it and see the truth and then call them idiots down the pub?! Lol!

I have also complained about Android and even now I cannot believe the mistakes it makes in my typing and places in words whereby many letters I did not go anywhere near or stop inside the key square while typing! What is worse if that when I do realise it has made a mistake I highlight it and then it immediately offers me the correct word I did type out and it's like it does it deliberately to drive you crazy?!

Sometimes I think that Erik The Viking Schmidt has done trusted sense of humor and that now that he thinks that Google and Android will just continue to rocket Android is coded to drive you bonkers!! It never used to do this back in the Gingerbread days! Today I have two products miles apart and yet they have the same issues! I mean how can the software immediately ignore the keys you stopped on and instead insert a word where several of the letters you did not even go anywhere near?!

It is so utterly amateurish I could not do it justice! Also text formatting had become a problem and several are incompatible! Blogger in Chrome is incompatible with the formatting with bold, italic and even line spacing with WordPress! It gets worse too because the Blogger App is also incompatible with Blogger itself, it's own bloody service and removes line spacing, making posts look utterly amateurish and messy and much if the time loses keywords too! A common one is inserting petiole every single time I type people!! Every single time on both my Advent Tetra Note Tablet and Moto G phone and both use the same version of Android, Kitkat?!

I could not use iOS, I just couldn't. So I think of ditching mobile phones completely as I do not really make calls and only one person I know phones me on a semi regular basis. I primarily use them for Internet tethering for my laptop and I am not going to get started on how utterly shit the mobile networks are! The best signal as my home is still crap and that is Three!! Impossible as it sounds I have been unable to get a signal here string enough fur broadband and neither have visitors who have phones with everyone else! I am the only one I know on Three, weird add they also are the only ones that offer unlimited Internet and on oat add you go too!

So then we are back to landlines as well as Windows H8, sorry I mean 8! Lol!

Here is an operating system that is utterly dreadful. For me it is simply a hand arsed attempt at an operating system. Write what they were thinking I do not know. I did not like the tiling in any device but on a large monitor it was madness. I did not mind this really add I thought well I wok just put it on classic mode. Except despite Windows 7 having an utterly gorgeous design this was more or less binned!! What the feck was Steve Balmer on when they did this I have now idea!

Oddly another thing that has driven me nuts with Windows is that not only is it by far the most expensive operating system out there, many are actually free you know, but that for your money you get an operating system that refuses to play with others and lies to your as to why, absolutely shit when it comes to getting hacked, viruses and adware but for your money it somehow managed to be very good at spying on you and handing over your details?!

Only the fecking stupid American government could do that and I knew that fecking about with a system that is used around the world would not end well. What I don't get is how those that work for the company don't out their foot down as this stuff coming out well mean curtains, oh yeah they are naive idiots I forgot!

Now despite the fact I do like Windows, though not any of the 8s, and have no choice but to use it anyway currently and hoping that Windows 9, or another update to 8, outs things back the way they were, I am going to state something that will surprise.

I actually think that the best thing in the world that can happen is for Microsoft to go bust!!

There I said it!

Why, I hear you ask? Well because the company had been going for long enough, wait for it, had for big enough and had an envious monopoly most companies dream about that by going bust by their own stupidity, completely using and back stabbing their users it will cause something to happen. Every single owner of every big company and every single lazy, naive and incompetent board member wool realised that not only can you not do this with your paying customer base but that if it can happen to Microsoft with the heights they reached then no company is safe and you cannot take your position as a given or customers for granted!

Even recently only a month ago a computer journalist, in PC Pro I think it was, said that the only way that Microsoft would survive to come back to the fore it will have to release the Home Premium, ' Premium' Lol premium what, for free! I believe he was correct in his assumption and has a good finger on the pulse of the varying technologies out there.

What makes this worse is that not only are their dozens of operating systems based on a more efficient core (kernel) but a well known and respected (for now) name suddenly announced their own operating system which has got computing fanatics like me salivating at the mouth at the possibilities!

I can assure you right now that Microsoft week be shitting themselves over this and so will Sony! Do a search on either Steam Box or Stream Machine, as Valve prefer to call them, and you wool see some very nice compact and stylish conjurers in a small form factor that are in essence games consoles! I have read many people on forums taking about either buying one or building your own and the Operating System, called Steam OS, week be completely free!

If I went to build a PC today I have to factor in the price of Windows and now knowing fur a fact it is coded to work against you, will refuse to work with certain technologies, wool let everyone hack it, be slow before too long and because it's spying on me and sending my details to God knows who?!

So yeah they are in deep shit and thigh they are concerned I can assure both you the readers and then that they are bit concerned enough! Their complete move over to cloud based software instead of client owned and based software is another time bomb.

Trust me Microsoft why would I want to rely on an Internet connection and pay a monthly subscription to use office?!

Libre Office and Open Office are both free and mite or less equal to your professional editions of office and I am amazed out how many people are not aware of this. But these facts are slowly becoming nitre widely known.

You see they also forget that computer boffins like myself get she'd things by others all the time. Even when I was at university computers were owned by very few people. In my own family only one other member owned a PC. He unfortunately died and yet today three people own one half a dozen own smart phones and all my friends have a PC. They ask me, I tell them and they tell others and mostly done using the Internet!

One of these days they will wake up and smell what they have been shoveling add it's been shoved back on their own doorstep. I only wish it does not take the demise of Microsoft for others to realise this and Microsoft refuse their pitfalls before it's too late.

What I find utterly astounding is that the man that created this bloody mess in Microsoft has now fecked off and now bought a fecking basket ball team!!

I am afraid everyone wants to make as much money as they can in a short a time add they can. The unfortunate part about this is that things that make people like us happy and hungry for more ends up with a body long wait add they have nitre money than God and are then ripped off and heart broken because the new version or indeed the follow up is half arsed piece of junk and we feel ripped off. Spend a week looking and reading different forums on the Internet and you will see that a great many millions of people have felt like this at one pint or another!

Oddly I am not like that. I might be able to prove this as done point in the next twelve months or so but if I suddenly came into money I would not sup being creative, innovative, informative or just helpful to one thing or another or indeed one cause or another. I have to keep busy working on something or the other.

Lol, a shame there are not a rest many people like me, and maybe like you?

THE FREEDOM OF TIME CONSUMING INFORMATION

Well I thought I would do a little update on the Freedom of Information requests I sent off prior to Christmas 2013.

I had two in the last couple of days and despite getting an email tonight from an Ombudsman which has something to do with Pensions, I think it was, they have yet to provide the information so must have been in the last salvo I fired off?

I still have to find the time to sort them, spreadsheet them and post them! This is how difficult it can be to do things for myself! This blog and all my others are to help me as well as others but it can be hard sometimes doing this and this is s direct result of my Fibromyalgia. Still better late than never, eh?!

Added to this frustration is the fact that my tablet PC is doing a new trick!

I had a barrage of emails from solicitors or agents for solicitors. Some of these stated they tried to ring me but no answer, some said I did not provide a phone number and some said that they could not help under a no win no fee case. I do not want to answer the phone to people who have not done their homework beforehand and that their colleagues and supervisors are not familiar with either?!

So I made a break down report of the evidence I have posted on here, the evidence I have NOT posted on here and the fact that these are people in PUBLIC POSITIONS we are taking about that I recorded and not private people.

I also stated that without Legal Aid for Clinical Negligence that what I have done is the only option available and that to refuse my option was practically criminal, meaning Doctors could and probably have gotten away with murder?!

Harold Shipman ring any bells?! Lol!

However while typing a rely to emails the on screen keyboard kept disappearing?!

Now due to my hatred of Google due to realising their true nature they do not even now try to hide it would be easy for me to bang on about them?! But this only happens in hotmail and in all honesty if there is one thing that I know about Microsoft is that they refuse to play fair with others and often refuse to play at all!!

No question marks in that sentence on my YouTube account is proof where I film myself trying to dual boot Ubuntu, a pile of crap at the time, and Windows 7. Windows refused to see a completely formatted drive and stated it was not suitable. I had a feeling that I could actually prove that the most expensive consumer class operating system on the planet was actually programmed to lie to me?!

I set up a camera on me and my laptop. Tried to install Windows and site the message of it refusing to do so stating there was no drive available. Then while still filming I unplug the drive that I had just installed Ubuntu on and then tried to install Windows into the same drive it stated was not suitable! Hey presto!! It body worked!! Lol!!

WINDOWS 7 RETURNS

Now here is a first...

... I stated that I did not like it, then heard more people complaining about it. Then I stated seeing Windows 8 for a ridiculously cheap, by Microsoft's normally over inflated prices. Oddly it is funny how cheap things can be sold for when hi one like the bloody product?! Now I read that Windows 8 is so bad that Hewlett Packard have now announced that they are shipping computers with Windows 7 again.

That is completely mad but I fully understand it. If I was going to buy a laptop or complete system now I would buy a HP.

Well I actually want to build a PC, as readers of my computing blog know only to well as I keep harping on about it.

SPYING FALLOUT FOR MICROSOFT

Well this in interesting as I did not expect to see anything like this taking place.

This is partly because taking anyone to court who are located overseas is notoriously expensive. A solicitor's husband I used to know once said I would need £75,000 of my own cash to fund it before I could seriously consider the option.

But then it never occurred to me that because they have offices here then of course you could do this weighty the huge possible costs. Thus is the second time in the last few months of people, as supposed to companies, taking Microsoft to court. The last time a small group of Spanish IT chaps over the fact the Microsoft quite deliberately coded Windows 8, also applies to Windows 7 see my video on YouTube, so that it REFUSED to install if it discovered a Linux OS (operating system like Windows) in the vicinity. However not only did it scan for it without telling you it also lies to you regarding the reason it cannot install. I do not know what Windows 8 tells you but Windows 7 tells you there is no compatible hard disk available to install. Oddly enough there WAS plus it was to be installed on a newly formatted hard disk separate from that which Linux was installed on! It failed to install several times with the same message. Guessing the problem I removed door on laptop underside where the Linux hard disk was located and set up the camera. I started filming, attempted to install Windows 7 which it failed to do and without paying the camera I turned the laptop over, popped out the SATA lead to Linux drive. Turned laptop back over attempted to install Windows again and hey presto, my invisible hard drive magically reappears!

Considering that Windows costs money and Linux dies not this is a terrible practice and attitude to adopt. The fact that it is vastly expensive to buy Windows and they programmed it to do this and lure to you is a complete piss take off their customers.

So forgive me Microsoft but your statements about being 'forced' to spy on your customers as utter codswallop. This sudden urge to campaign for tighter laws is only to deceive your customer base too. So many companies just cannot help themselves but lie these days! It is like taking part in some TV series or film about an apparent utopian future which is based on control. Some people really do believe they are of some higher calling than the rest of us. No wonder those with fragile minds believe that countries or the planet is run by Reptilian like being masquerading as humans! They do behave like they are of a more advanced species than we. Yeah... about that... not from what I have seen and heard your not, quite the opposite in fact.

Dumb arses!

I do not keep track of these things as I should, never have the time out energy to chase them down. Instead I rely on a couple of apps that fed major news stories from around the globe and in particular fields and subjects of my choosing to my devices. These are first off Pulse and secondly Flipboard. Oddly these work and behave very differently depending on devices and operating system version. I use Flipboard more on my tablet and Pulse on my phone. Flipboard works really badly on the phone and Pulse but so well on the tablet. Everything works like crap on Apple's iOS, unfortunately.

Before fanboys start harping like beleaguered Beagles on heat I am sorry but crap home screen, no widgets and the back button is in the top left corner making single handed navigation a pain in the rear. Apple device has now been relegated to being not used at all. Not even music add charting with my brother and trying out headphones I realised that by giving music listening duties to the Apple instead of the Sony Walkman and Fiio Mobile Amplifier/DAC I lost quite a but of audio quality.

Note there are some very good reasons why Apple odd losing ground, not fire being copied when the only possible thing they could have created on their phones is the Accelerometer, or Gyroscope, albeit it only an electronic version. But then that would be like Google suing everyone for hosting blogs because they bought the original blog host. Well IF they did that is. Well they might have done I just do not know. Oddly I hated the sound of blogs when they first appeared and could not see myself hiding my own blog in a million years.

Was about eight or ten in reality! Lol.

Microsoft have also screwed up at the worst time to with Windows 8 and all because of Valve, people behind the Half Life games. They have created their own operating system based on Linux and called Steam OS. The worst time because Linux versions have been many over the years and ranged from bloody awful to just awful. Despite what fanatics may tell you. After all, all versions are free and have been fur over ten years. But they have never threatened Windows in all that time. Despite what some native idiot stated on one of my Ubuntu videos on YouTube.

If you want to spend your time endlessly tinkering to get your PC working better, working faster or just plain working then fine. But those that praise an OS when much of the time it dies not just install correctly first, second or third attempt plus are....just wrong fit want of a better and quite derogatory term, Lol.

An OS should just work... THE END. If you then want to endlessly fool around with optimising and settings among other things then great.

An OS should also be able to play or run at least half of the software you run on Windows. It dies not and yet there is an even older running OS which is also inexpensive that does and also based on Unix. You don't know of one? Why is Apple's OS X.

Oddly enough if Steam OS does not blow us all away I may have to end up with a rotten apple?! Brrrrr!

Still I give Apple their due, they do make some very nice laptops and screens. Even if all there gear is stupidly expensive.

Right a simple and short video, you do not have to be a computer geek or programmer to realise WHAT is going on here. Some people that think they are geeks have failed to spot this but do not worry about that.

It only does one thing and it does it twice only in between doing this things I make one single and SOLITARY as well as SIMPLE action before I do it again.

You wil hear me say 'Oh I want expecting that' or something similar when i think my plans gone off piste but it then turns out to work out EXACTLY as I thought.

Whoa! Well my games are now back up, or TWO of them are anyway, and much of my Video uploads to YouTube are done...

...I DID think they would all be done and that the games still had a bit to go if I am honest!! LOL.

The fact that BOTH these games are up and running considering the size of the downloads and yet YouTube has not received a few videos is downright shocking and highly suspect. Hmm not for the reasons you might think that I am insinuating towards, lol.

Yes so at SOME POINT today I should get the videos up and linked in as well as the audio off my not so smart phone and uploaded to my, or ONE of my, Cloud Storage and those linked in here?!

FINGERS CROSSED, LMAO?!

You see the way I see use of these things is really quite simple...

1) You have various webpages within different environments

2) Blogs and Video on a Blog Client or Video Client, in my case both GOOGLE

3) The more content you add the more people you will attract

4) The more GOOD CONTENT and SMARTER you sound then even more people you attract

5) The MORE SUBJECT MATTERS you can cover THE PEOPLE YOU ATTRACT grows exponentially so two subjects then TWICE the people, give or take depending on the popularity of the subject matter.

6) On each webpages you have TAGS. TAGS were TAGS for a long time and the same as Hash Tags in Twitter '#' in that they label things (err orr Tagged then?! lol) for discovery by a search engine. So Google, Bing, AltaVista (if still around), AVG, Mozilla, Yahoo, Jeeves or any others. Google did not invent it you know?! LOL!

7) Now here is the CHERRY ON THE BAKEWELL TART AS...
a) The more specific tags or terms you can think of the more likely you are to get to the people who     SPECIFICALLY want to see what you are showing!
b) The more SCIENTIFIC you can be then the more similar minded people you can attract to so use of LATIN is paramount....if I can remember the Latin names and terms that is, lmao!

8) The more you keep a camera with you and the longer it goes that you keep adding content on the more chance there is that something you capture can go...viral.

9) I had around 16 subjects dear to me that I could cover and so far I had started up 12, starting last August to September, and about to start up another one in the coming weeks.

10) As I do not have 6 years worth of cash for 6 years of work this would mean that the money will continue to grow for 6 years without any further input from me?! Only explainable theory I can come up with at the present time.

Now before I make a series of announcements I do prefer to lay a few things out for a couple of months, groundwork you could think of it as, before I do it.

So therefore before i can explain a How To or a How NOT To or anything that is fundamentally wrong with anything you might WANT TO DO or possibly ARE DOING I need people to just get a little familar with a few things first.

A brief and easy few pointers of how you can figure out what is wrong with any figures or statements when i make them. Think of it like a plant window box. You can grow plants in a window box by simply watering them enough that they live and grow BUT...

They grow faster and BETTER IF...

1) You give them the CORRECT amount of water... (higher than normal frequency of additional content)

2) You provide them with the CORRECT amount of light... (pictures and videos)

3) You provide them with the CORRECT temperature... (popular subjects)

3) You throw into the mix the right amount of ingredients or feed   (think of this as the TAGS)

I think if you breeze about my other blogs you will see that my knowledge is not limited to Corruption and outwitting half-witted people but also...

The BLOG I plan on starting is Japanese Maple Trees or Acer palmatums, japonicumsm shirasawanum and negundo.

I will probably also start up a Mountain Biking Blog too shortly after the Japanese Maple one which will run through the summer.

Though this largely depends on quite how the Blogger and YouTube works behind the scenes otherwise the Mountain Bike one might not happen this year, lol. Well not unless someone ELSE comes along to lend a genuinely helping hand and saves the day, or MY DAY?! LMAO!

Maybe this whole thing is just a Social experiment for me to find out f the world, or at least the United Kingdom, is only populated by selfish and amoral people these days?! Maybe i'm just curious to see so set about with the most dastardly and intricate plan that would make a spiders-web look like it was manufactured by small children and plastic knitting needles?! Yes I am capable of such a thing!

TOUGH TRIP DUE TO LIST OF GREEDY BASTARDS

Well that was a real pain....LITERALLY!!

I left the house on my bike to go and BUY something that, like the dumb-arse I am at times, I had not foreseen me needing..

..this was an external DVD-ROM Drive as I had placed another Western Digital Scorpio 160GB HDD, that I did NOT BUY, in the bay where the Optical Drive USED to be.

Now I did this, and very important it will reveal itself to be that I explain this NOW, because I had a little go at installing another Operating System based on the Linux core OS. This is called Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, latter stands for Long Term Support.

Unfortunately Microsoft is run by an idiot I now like to call the Leaping Lizard because he likes to leap about and scream but comes across as scaley, slimey and controlling. His name is Steve Ballmer and being an ex military man for a country who is not very good at military despite the technology they possess he seems to think that businesses should be run the same way and that all other should be crushed, even when they are not even in it for the money or power. Err well are NOT supposed to be.

The Open Source community, or at any rate the reasons it was started in the first instance, makes a lot of sense once you listen to the fundamental principles. Ubuntu is based on Linux which is based on Unix and even the story behind Unix rings similar to that of Microsoft and Windows. Created by two your guys while working for AT&T who then claimed ownership of it and went off to make a great deal of money from it, while if i recall the two guys did not make much at all. There argument was that theses two were employees of AT&T at the time they created it.

That is about all I know and even these details may be a little 'off'. Just one of thousands of stories you hear when you study Computer Science at University.

Still.... later on a man named Linus Torvalds created Linux and made it free, or at least the kernel and in essence it is Unix though probably with much stuff removed, or at least that is how it got started. Different types of OS's then sprung up and forgive me is I do not know the beginnings of one and whether it was originally Unix or not but it is that used by that famous Rotten Apple brand and the MAC-OS! Lion, Panther, Tiger, Ocelot, Serval, Pussycat or whatever version you are running. Ooh OK yes a little bit of a joke there.

Now I highly admired Apple in the early years and wanted a MAC like there was no tomorrow. Unfortunately they turned into the type of brand they hated and fought against for years, err like Microsoft and Intel?! LMAO! Anyhow Linux was in no way near ready for the masses in the early years and only geeks like me ever really had much to do with it. My time was limited because while studying things had to...well WORK really and sodding about mounting and un-mounting drives there simply was not time for, as fun as it might have seemed to the inner geek in us.

Over tie more version appeared by different groups, disagreements came to the fore and splinter cells broke off and formed more groups but still everything was free, as mad as it sounds. My own run in was with Red Hat and I dual booted this with whatever the current Windows was in 1998, hmm that would be Windows 98 then but I think it was Windows NT 4.0 (NT stood for New Technology). Unfortunately neither of these two were good at playing the latest games so having both seemed a waste. I DO believe I ended up dual booting Windows NT4.0 and Windows 98 in the end. My lecturer friends and fellow students were all shocked when i did this during a semester and managed to achieve it without asking lecturers for help. One chap, Alastare Measures and highly popular among students, was so impressed at this and another creation I STILL possess today wanted to go into business with me. He used to work for the Stock Exchange in London and i saw what the stress of a job like that can DO to a human being!

Fast forward a few years and a whole list of catastrophes and setups as well as set upons by various government morons and public office idiots later and I dual booted a later, and turns out a British sourced with a South African head, Linux Operating System called Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

Only Computer Active magazine, supposedly for beginners and NEWBIES, states its real easy and simple to do using something called WUBI. So I install it only to find Windows does not want to play anymore?! Not having used Linux for years I knew not what the commands were or even how the two OS's worked differently so now I was on a crash course with a STEEP LEARNING CURVE OF STRAIGHT UPWARDS!! LMAO!

After several days i could not get Windows back which was annoying for the most part because I had files and edited photos and screen shots that were vital to my BLOGS, mainly this one, and did not know how i could get them back?! Ubuntu would not read the drive and Windows did not want to reinstall without wiping everything. Yes I could work with Ubuntu only but two problems remained, only a dozen documents and a dozen photos and my games as I am disabled and need to force myself to stay in.

Hewlett Packard is the manufacturer behind my laptop and on changing my RAM from the 3GB it came with up to the 8GB it now has I realised it had a SECOND HARD DISK BAY!! This was 6 months ago long before Ubuntu was presented to me. I thought how cool this was and thought about an SSD especially as I had now realised that idiots on the Internet were WRONG to state that I could not play any of the latest games on my laptop when I eventually played the most demanding of all....ELDER SCROLLS V SKYRIM!

I then realised I needed not only a special cable to add a second drive but also a LONGER CABLE?! Imagine my shock when I discover I could pick up a short cable for £8 to £15 but the longer one was £100?!?! I went to Maplin's store and asked someone in there wh knew IMMEDIATELY I had a HP laptop as he had the same problem?! MAD!!

I see a Hard Drive caddy online for £11 that will replace my optical drive allowing me to add a second HARD DISK there! So I think ... ohh I wont need my optical drive I will get one and I had a Western Digital Scorpio HDD lying around so used that.

Now I reformatted everything back to their original factory conditions for the two Hard Disk Drives, a 320GB Toshiba, already replaced once, and the 160GB Western Digital and I install Ubuntu onto the Toshiba first, thinking that will need the extra space while Windows will need the faster drive. Only when it comes to installing Microsoft's Windows 7 it yet again REFUSES POINT BLANK to install and the error message given to me makes no sense other than to say "I'm TOTALLY FECKING BLIND!!!"?!

Now I had been sensing skullduggery on Microsoft's part and came up with a little idea and then though "Hmm I have been filming and photographing everything for my blogs to build up content and make money I should REALLY FILM THIS in case it works and should PAY OFF?!" I did and it DID WORK.

It is not the ONLY big name I have been focusing on either but some things are just best to wait for as the more data I have the more concrete it looks to others. Some may spot this immediately but I DO LIKE everyone to spot it...EVENTUALLY. So sometimes it is just best to work on it and wait until the best time.

So I do this film and make some changes to my laptop and HEY PRESTO I am in business. Windows 7, which I DO like despite it being a bit slow compared to Ubuntu and that Leaping Lizard screwing the company up for the last ten years. But Windows starts being Windows yet again by refusing to see a wifi so no internet. My God I could NOT BELIEVE IT, how did they manage to do THAT yet again after doing THAT with the release of Windows XP?!?! I fixed sooo many computers when Windows XP first came out it was NOT TRUE?!

However I had a bit of luck as I had Ubuntu installed which installed without a damn problem at all, everything just WORKED!! So Ubuntu ended up FIXING the ageing and decrepid Windows and held its hand while it fetched the things it needed like a senile and immobile old man in an Old People's Home?!

Back into Windows and I am now in the Internet and install a few other things but forgot a few. No matter i am now online .... but ooh yeah the updates for Windows?! FECK IT!!! Slow Windows and my NOT SO BROAD BAND CONNECTION I am looking at the screen and want to use my laptop as a frisbee but would rather do this with Steve Ballmer, owner of 3 Mobile and HP in front of me with the laptop edges laced with razor blades so decide not to.

Yesterday and after two weeks of fecking about, the last week of which was laced with a really rotten illness, pains in my knees, feet and groin, dizzy spells making me pass out and being dragged to hospital, painfull drilling on my teeth and a really bad toothache that persists today and last night I finally get everything working to the point where all I have to do now is install my games back on and I am one HAPPY CHAPPY!!

I sit down with the games cases on my lap and I remove Edler Scrolls V Skyrim DVD which is the greatest game ever made and sorely missed these last two weeks and by the same outfit I remove the Fallout New Vegas DVD which runs Edler Scrolls a close second and I go to insert the discs into my Optical Drive and I am...

....OH FOR F#@1$!! SAKE!!!!

YOU BLOODY IDIOT!!!

So I had to go through all that to tell you that I had totally missed the fact that I DID INDEED need the Optical Drive no longer in the bay where the installation of Windows 7 now lives. I cannot even remove it to install it which I could have done had it been on the OTHER DRIVE?!?!

So I left the house on my bike to buy ANOTHER DVD ROM DRIVE to plug into my USB Port so I can re-install my bloody games, LMFAO!!

I decide to go around the cah converters and little store to buy one cheap. I only need them to install a couple of games and I have four bloody items in this house that spin optical discs?!?! I KID YOU NOT!!

I go into Morrisons and there is a little PC repair place ... "How much your DVD Roms, mate?" I inquire before being told they are £40.00 and I am like "Err no I do not think so!!"

I now realize i have an intense pain in my right heel and thanking my lucky stars that I have come out on my bike I then hobble over the car park to enter PC World that sits 100 yards from the Argos that sold me a refurbished Nikon Camera, or TWO?! The pain is getting worse and i am feeling some stinging in my groin to boot, ooh bad pun!

I had intended to either go to my friends store afterwards but I also had TWO harnesses on me for my Barr & Stroud 8x42 Bird Watching Binoculars worth £100 but I got off Amazon for £83?! Also in my Kombat Rucksack in Olive Green also bought from AMAZON is my Olympus Stylus SP-820UZ Camera too and I had planned to go to Lea Valley Park to film and photograph wildlife which would NOT have been good due to the crap weather but want and need more content for my blogs and YouTube accounts?!

In PC World I see, eventually and in teh WRONG PLACE, a Lite-ON top loading DVD ROM and WRITER for £25 (with £5 off). This is about £15 more than i actually want to pay and am using my rent money until Wednesday when I get paid next....IF I GET PAID NEXT?!

As I have done so many times before I end up thinking bugger it I am not going about in pain I will just get this one....only when I buy it I hand over a £50 NOTE only to be handed £20 in change and I say "errr love, you have given me the wrong change?!" and she says no its £29.99 and I say NO it is £24.99 and point towards the SHELF where I got it which is only 6 feet away. She says it must be for a different one and I say oh what you just so happen to have TWO Lite-ON DVDs both with the same features and yet you have the price for the cheaper one and not the DEARER ONE, yeah right! I thna point out that this DVD Rom is indeed £29.99 but that the label states that it is £5.00 OFF and she scans the label after removing it from the shelf and then says ... NO SIR THIS IS A DIFFERENT ONE!

I am a computer scientist in PC World being spoken to by an idiot like I am the IDIOT?!

I puff and whinge and think about how I just stood in pain for ten minutes waiting while only ONE PERSON was on the 8 tills, saw the queue which was now four times longer than when i was on it and said...

..."fine....I will just have to TAKE THIS ONE THEN!"

Now if you will EXCUSE ME, I DO BELIEVE those two games have finished INSTALLING!!! LMFAO!!
