MORE DOCTORS DOLITTLE

Well after speaking to the latest Doctor while recording it anyone who downloaded and listened to the recording might have noticed how I mentioned that my Metatarsalgia had become a real problem?

This was so much so that I was planning to get a referral about it and planning to use the upcoming odd appointment I made that no one is aware of, yes I kid you not, to ask about it. Well everything else has been more or less sorted, even IF they have wriggled out of a confirmed diagnosis on every occasion!

Now it just so happens that for a couple of days I had thought of changing my insoles. I always have insoles and am often trying new ones in an attempt to lessen the pains in my feet. There is one I have bought several times from Sport Direct that are OK for a few months. I had been using a new pair that I bought from Lidls and they were surprisingly OK. But I also had a gel pair and thought about changing them when the Metatarsalgia started to come to the fore?

Now when I did mention this in my very last appointment the GP I saw suggested that as the Gabapentin were working that this now forced my Metatarsalgia to become more prominent as it was the only thing I was feeling in my foot now. As I am not up to the full dose of the Gabapentin yet and that is what I was there for, I could have argued that I am still feeling things in my feet OTHER than the Metatarsalgia?

Now in all honesty I was surprised that she said it and Doctors and GPs everywhere just assume that everyone is a CRY-BABY and WHINGER based on that remark and I honestly feel that has been the attitude of every Doctor going back 20 years or more!!

Terrible and DISGUSTING!

Now back to the insoles! Yes so I had another pair of gel like insoles, bought from Sports Direct but not the usual full memory sole ones I have had three pairs of, and thought it may help to switch them over. Well a couple of days ago I did and some if you might well be wondering where this is going or thinking ooh boy not worthy of a mention, but WAIT LOL.

When I took of the old ones I was looking at them while wondering if there was anything abut them that could be causing the pain when I noticed something! Right there in the very area where I have been experiencing pain in the ball of my left foot was a small mark?! I looked at it closely and it seemed to resemble an indentation of some sort and measured about 3mm to 5mm across. I then assumed that there had been a stone lodged in there somewhere but this was on the topside which was in contact with my feet?! I inspected the other side of the insole and there was nothing there and no weakness in the insole, nor impressions of any kind. I pushed the depression with my fingers and something had definitely been applying a lot of pressure to the area as it was not only weak but the spot had been rubbed to the point where the colour had faded. On the other insole, in case anyone was wondering, there was nothing!

I am at a loss to explain it but will say that I had been massaging the area and thought that I had done something wrong to make it worse?! Also I have always felt that the spot when I am massaging it felt like it had a loose lump inside it. But as my feet had been X-Rayed because of Plantar fasciitis by both an Orthopaedic Surgeon and a Podiatrist at Barnet Hospital, whose boss I recorded for an hour immediately before the appointment, and said the X-Rays were OK I had assumed that this was my imagination.

However now that I realised they have lied t me about the Neurology, the Electromyograph and NCS tests, Nerve Conduction Studies as well as the Ultrasound...well it is OPEN SEASON NOW!

Considering the fact that I asked these so called someone later why they had x-rayed my feet as bone spurs are nothing to do with Plantar fasciitis and the reply was 'yes they are' and I came back with 'NO THEY ARE NOT' and this went back and forth a few times until they decided to ask why I said they were not, at last the penny drops. I said because there has never EVER been found any correlation or links between BONE SPURS and Plantar fasciitis. You can have the spurs and have no pain whatsoever and you can have the pain and yet have no spurs whatsoever, ergo the spurs do NOT cause the pain!

How cool this was too!!

I got a phone-call a couple of days ago asking if I would not only come in a few days time but also I do not have to travel to the bloody hospital?!

Added to this that, and you will need to look back in the archives for this one, it is the SAME chap I met a year...no TWO years ago up at the hospital.

Oddly though his head dropped when I replied to his question of the diagnosis and I stated that I do not KNOW yet he then did something curious.

He stated he was going to add a drug to my list of drugs called Gabapentin, I think he said, and this was not only something to do with electrical signals to and from my muscles but also he seemed to be aware of the fact I had the Nerve Conduction Tests too?!

Now if you recall this test was about the electrical signals regarding my muscles to which the test results were negative but these pills ARE to do with the electrical signals to and from my muscles?!

Well if your confused beyond belief with that one well join the club and I am the chairman of the board?!

After leaving I thought how good it was to have met him again and have this new drug to add to my arsenal of drugs and hoping that it has some effect on some of my conditions, fingers crossed.

Turns out that the drug is given to patients that are epileptic but I have no grand mal seizures, though I did have one many years ago and do go light headed and warm and fuzzy often when I am out and grabbing hold of magazine racks so that I do not fall over, lol.

As I said to two friends afterwards maybe they DID find out something and just did not want to admit I was right and they were horridly wrong for all these years. Maybe that news has got to this pain management guy which is why he hung his head like he was in shame when I said I did not know and said results were negative and perhaps the DWP became informed too?!

It will probably turn out to be pure coincidence that I just so happen to have now been prescribed drugs that seem to be linked to the Nerve Conduction Studies and Electromyography tests.

Oh but HEY...do not take MY WORD for it, LMAO...

ELECTROMYOGRAPHY AFTER EFFECTS

Well that was somewhat weird.

I woke up this morning to a ringing phone at 8.45am from an unknown number and it seemed I had one late last night too.

But I felt somewhat different as I woke up and was finding it difficult to come around and every part of my body felt is if it was ten times heaveir than it was the previous day?! Even lifting my hands alone seemed difficult and as I looked at the phone I then dropped it.

After awhile as I put more effort into rising I felt some soreness down my spine and eventually I got to my feet and felt some soreness on my calf muscles too.

With all that and my heavy head and real woozy state I wondered why I had felt like this and then remembered the EMG needles and that the parts that now ached and seemed stiff were parts that has a needle wriggled about inside them.

The woozy head and heavy feeling was a bit weird but I realised the test yesterday was to do with most of it but had not had one placed in my head, though not far away with my right shoulder.

I thought I had better read the notes that came with the appointment letter, well beyonw the part stating what was required of me before the test that is. AS I descnded the stairs I thought well if that guy was no Doctor and was indeed WORKING for another group and has poisoned mme at least I have been put out of my misery of starving to death or being made homeless!!

LMAO.

Sure enough when I read the EMG notes it did stat bruises and sore ness that would last a day.

WHAT A DAY FOR AN ELECTRIC DREAM

Well it has been a strange day.

After many years of waiting I thought today was the day when I would finally find out what it is that afflicts me. Being convinced of what I had read due to the incompetence and lies of a great many Doctors, maybe all one reason and maybe all the other.

But it turned out not to be the case and looks like Maya will not get to hear from me again telling her I have this exotic condition after all.

Told I must have a neurological condition and insinuating that Restless Leg Syndrome was the key to this along with a hammer of my heels that gave no response that wasted appointment I waited months for led me down a garden path to nowheresville!

I have spent the day in a kind of limbo. I have felt not only very tired by deflated to and another brick wall. Now that I think about it I cannot help but wonder at the sheer lack of professionalism of all these people you are supposed to bow down before fo them giving you their time?!

That Podiatrist called Mark I was referred to by a guy 15 feet away from his office, he tells me I should not have been sent to him, then insinuates that I am making things up, then says I have a neurological disorder hits my heels with a hammer and is shocked that he gets no reaction from either heel.

Everything he has said has first been contradicted and the prove wrong.

Te odd thing is lately is that, ad believe me when I say that this has NEVER happened before, is that all these Doctors seemed to know each other personally and speak as if they all spend Christmas day together?!

Mark says that mg GP Dr Gubbay is one of the best GPs around, Dr Gubbay says this about Mark (the Podiatrist) and today the Doctor that performed the tests said this about Dr Mort, my Neurologist, who caused me to realise he was the Doctor I was about to meet 100 yards away from where I was to meet him because he looked at me and did a double-take of me. So he KNEW me and had seen a picture, either that or Dr Carl Sagan was wrong and there IS something to Psychic abilities because there is simply no other explanation. Added to this is that there would be NO picture of me in my medical records.

Also I noted the other day, I rarely read this things through if at all, that Dr Mort referred to me in his letter back to my GP that I was a pleasant man?! An odd thing for a Doctor to remark about?

I cannot recall a time previously ever meeting two doctors that actually knew each other and it has happened several times, oh yes Maya and Mark knew each other well too.

So I just so happen to be living in an area whereby the loal hospital has one of the worst reputations around and yet I am lucky enough to have all the top people in their fields in the areas I have been referred to.

In my dozey, hazy, depressed and deflated state that has been playing on my mind!

Not normally a good thing as it normally means I am picking up on something and have no realised all the data yet, lol.

AUDIO: ELECTROMYOGRAPHY & NERVE CONDUCTION STUDIES

Well I have to hold my hands up and it is one of those occasions that I am wrong.

Had my tests at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead today at 9.30am.

It appears that I had convinced myself of Charcot Marie Tooth Disease and that this was indeed my affliction but the nerve tests have ruled it out completely.

As I statetd to the friend who took me there in his car I was fully expecting to be fobbed off on this and in all honesty did not expect to be told of any findings.

The man seemed pleasant enough though and did not talk down to me, a relief, and I tend to believe him and it has left me deflated.

I also would not recommend these tests unless absolutely necessary and they were NOT how I imagined at all. If you HAVE A FEAR OF NEEDLES then I suggest you asked to be unconscious, lol. I had to have a needle place into the outer muscles tissue before it was wiggle about and pushed down into DEEPER TISSUE!!

Now if I remember correctly this was done either 4 or 6 times on my right foot and then my left, so 8 or 12 in total on my feet alone.

Then four times I think it was on each of my lower legs, So another 8 in total.

Then 2 or 4 times in each of my thighs, so 4 or 8.

Then there was a series of them down my back, four or more,  and in my right shoulder which I think was two but could have been higher.

No the odd thing is that, yes of course, this did have a sharp pain to each but when he inserted it into the left of my spine in the middle of my back I got a different pain, a painful MUSCULAR pain. Rather like that if you rubbed a torn muscle and this was DEAD ON the area that hurts and I told him so.

You will hear on the audio me explaining to him abut the Chiropractor and him telling me that they are not Doctors and not governed by the GMC or NICE?!

Also you will hear him tell me that my Neurologist is 'the best there is' which in all honesty and the only think to point to being set up. Well that and the fact that when he was running the electricity through me, like a very powerful TENS machine or muscle toner, he often turned it on with a fair amount of power and had that limb flail around. Stark contrast to other ones were it was barely noticeable, lol.
