I was never quite happy with the official lines of distances in the universe, I touched upon recently, nor the age or the size of the universe. Once again its one of those things where they wont have it .. their egos tell them they are eight and they and their hoards would laugh at you for questioning anything.
Except it never .. I just never felt quite comfortable with it. At first glance the numbers did not quite make sense. Now a perfect example has popped up.
But first remember two things before I explain what I just heard .. just two ..

Even just thinking that the Sun was the third the age of the entire universe seemed somewhat .. off?
Now they have discovered a new supermassive black hole the centre of a galaxy that is the largest, brightest and hungriest .. it has already shocked scientists, yeeaaah happening a lot, but how about these facts .. or are they ..

So .. we got it wrong? Is it changing its expansion rate over time? Are different part of the universe expanding at different rates for some unknown reason? Is the universe shaped differently to what they have been stating? In which case the age of the universe is also not what they stated it was either.
When you talking of billions of light years which means billions of years and I have stated this before .. you have got no way of knowing what effects this has. Its not possible to test some things.
This is something I really never expected to hear in all honesty.
This is in the back of several things .. needing to work out how to protect humans from radiation beyond the Van Allen Belts, announcing that we have been in a period of increased meteors and admitting that they were not aware of this before and nor how they were judging this?
Known for a while they had other things wrong .. the Sun being behind climate change for a start and the torsional oscillations of the Sun, Sunspot numbers and altering peaks which many believe works via cycles over specific periods of time. Very large periods of time.
So the age of the universe that they have insisted was accurate is now out of the window and heaven only knows when it will ever come back.
I have lost track of the number of times I have heard "We can measure this with absolute/relative accuracy" only for months or years later they go and realise they screwed up.

I had wondered what happens to light over millions or billions of years .. maybe its possible that the waves that make up light ever so slightly change over vast amounts of time?
Now think of the distances .. how do you know that light has not .. passed though something over all that distance we are unable to detect?

Yup .. no. An Earthquake had the same affect but just amplified in movement of the tubes and happening very, very quickly.
Also creating a vacuum in a very large pipe that is hundreds of miles long? That must take a monumental amount of energy? How would they get around that?
Then there were these daft claims about being solar powered as well as the 650mph speeds.
But every daft little test that they do and the speed years they perform get reported on.
The letters test run reached the speed of 192mph and they are celebrating that? Sorry but there have been cars around that can beat that speed and are in physical contact with the ground. But floating on magnets and nor do they have a vacuum tube.

I fell asleep two maybe three nights ago when I typed this out and due to the number o things going on, house move, being .. umm investigated, three sets of tools to buy for .. and starting a business, going self-employed in the process, my health conditions, pain and memory problems and .. umm .. oh yeah still going out filming and photographing things with a new and professional camera I am trying to familiarise myself with. But sometimes I see things that are either just impossible to achieve even on first thoughts, prove to be impossible to create. Yet whenever I read about anything there is always some dastardly plan that involves receiving billions of pounds or dollars.
There are so many chancers out there and so many fake (news), I have a more derogatory word for them, scientists just trying and wanting so hard to be on TV that it is scary.
I also see the powerful and/or world leaders taking forever to meet up and then making decisions based upon bad, unproven or flatly wrong data.
Oddly and during the few days this did not get finished and published .. I see a strange video by an American photographer called Jason Lanier. He showed a video where in a couple of places he was doing a shoot and he was told he had to leave unless he paid $500 for permits on what basically, wll would be in the UK, public land anyway.
In the comments section there was someone called Dana, I think it was, that resolutely answered several times in a very lengthy way to everyone that complained about this and defended the laws. Yes there were indeed laws .. but they seemed to miss the point that they were stupid laws.
I think that what they and a couple others were actually thinking is that Jason Lanier made a lot of money as a photographer and that he was being tight, had a bit of envy if you ask me, and that Mr Lanier was making it worse for the rest of us. They actually made that last statement which I thought was weird.
Who exactly is 'the rest of us'? Because it is abundantly clear that anyone just shooting with a camera, say like a tourist, is OK and will not be bothered. If your not a tourist then you are a photographer, even if it is just a hobby there is always a point that if you stick to it long enough and have a good eye for a picture .. you become a professional or at least semi-professional photographer.
In one place in the video the guy asking him questions was actually polite, unlike the previous guy who was a fucking selfish and rude half-wit. Yeah? Disagree? Yeah well after saying that he did not have thirty minutes to hang around to prove to himself that the shoot was not a commercial one and after Mr Lanier not answering the question of when he will leave this dumb-arse then said "Right, well I will stay here until you do!"
Now if it were me .. I would have sat in my car for thirty minutes, got out and gone over to him and then said "Right, you said on camera, dumb-arse, that you did not have thirty minutes to watch and check us over thirty minutes ago? YOUR STILL HERE?! I am now going to sue your arse!"
Now this is something I never would have thought would occur in the UK and indeed some UK based comments stated that it did not. Until someone that lives near the River Thames commented that him and a bunch of other people with cameras and tripods down by the river from 1am to 3am taking pictures of an eclipse of the moon, I think it was, were told to leave. Because they had tripods. You cannot take those types of pictures without tripods. Worse still is they were taking pictures o the fucking moon!
It gets worse .. one chap was actually from California and had flown all the way to London just to take a picture of this eclipse with Big Ben as part of the scene! Yeah he was a little pissed .. understandably. Lol, poor chap!
The number of comments about this ongoing thing in America that included the line "The Land of The Fee" was hilarious. It also seems that if your brave just a little bit you get charged? Lol.

I heard somewhere .. something about this design for floating towers, later in the video below called skyscrapers. After falling victim to a April Fool's joke YouTube video the other day and then almost immediately a second time I assumed it was just that.
Annoyingly I cannot recall where I heard this but after seeing 'the man with the loud feet' cover this I remembered hearing it somewhere. Or seeing it written somewhere?

Yeah I saw this video get recommended to me something about floating skyscrapers and I initially failed to make the link to the previous mention. Probably the use of the word 'skyscrapers' and not 'towers' failed to kick my recall into action?
As I started watching I then realised I had seen or heard this somewhere and took no notice of it with probably a little laugh as I dismissed it. Floating buildings ... indeed!
But then I got to the part where they spoke about this floating tower being linked up to an asteroid, basically just anchored out in space to an asteroid and the building actually built downwards into the Earth's atmosphere.
Yeah that would still not work but could kind of work but for three things..
1 Yeah ... they do not have the materials to build something that would need to be strong beyond belief. Space stations have tiny little windows for a reason ... because they are expensive to make and have to be damned tough.
2 Yeeaah ... kind of would work if the solar system was not absolutely littered with debris and speeding rocks hitting any part of a rather large, think they said tens of thousands of miles long, TARGET! Try doing some research about the damage that has been sustained by things that have been in space, lol. That alone would spell disaster would be inevitable at some point in the future ... except ... space is also littered with our own debris, like satellites for example! Ooh boy!
3 Yeeeeeaaaaah ... part of the building being in Earth's atmosphere? Wind speed anyone? We can experience some really ferociously fast wind speeds down here at sea level or on land but ... yeah ... the higher you get into the atmosphere the faster wind speeds get. They do not call part up the upper atmosphere the jet stream for nothing!
Remember .. there are plenty of documentaries about an asteroid or comet striking Earth and wiping us out and they constantly state in each one, scientists that is, that we cannot and do not know about all of the things roaming around out there. In other words they have found none that could strike us for at least two decades but that does not mean that they are not out there.
These same dangers exist for the International Space Station but this building design, has a name starting with 'A' and no its not Arseholes or Arsewipes though it probably should be. This building will be not tens of times bigger or even hundreds of times bigger ... not even thousands of times bigger than the ISS but tens of thousands of times bigger or more. That's a .. barn door at ten paces!
Also .. where exactly your going to get a phenomenal amount of materials for a building tens of thousands of miles high I do not know.
I tell you what I do know ... even if such a feat were possible, and it is not .. not yet, the prices of all materials involved would rocket! And I DO MEAN rocket! Oh ... no pun intended, lol.
It might be possible in a hundred years time ... only after we have started mining in space for a start, then and only then due to rocketing prices of aluminium, steel and glass and a shed load of others ruining many economies of the world. But why has it been covered by so many news media outlets?

I saw this report about melting polar ice and no doubt sensationalizes regarding global warming or climate change die the billionth time and it reminded me of something!
This something was a documentary that was aired on TV lately regarding Britain's severe wintery weather of late.
Now what isinterestingabout it is that in the past I have lambasted scientists for having tunnel vision when it come to their field and their very bold claims. This comes in two types of afflictions and one is the ignorance towards other fields of science that have effects or show signs regarding their own field. The other type is that they can see nothing else but appearing in enough TV spots in the hope of getting a regular or even semi regular series of narrating documentaries?!
This program broke that rule for a change and the conclusion they came to after discovering some numbers that made no sense was a shocking one. One I have long since thought true long before the inception of my first blog be very many years albeit of a lesser prediction?
A mini Ice Age is coming like that of several hundred years ago when the River Thames was frozen over to the point of markets and shows being performed on the ice!
I found their conclusion of the incoming storm to be the lesser of the two to be an interesting one but unfortunately I am unaware at present to the numbers that lead them to this conclusion.
Still the global warming will in time become a global cooling just as it had done so many times in the long distant past.
I state again, get your facts completely correct and conclusive before you start banding about sensational claims because as previously stated, putting all your eggs in one basket can bring about a greater tragedy than the one you think, or are just claiming for personal gain, your trying you avoid.

Being something of a very educated man in the world of amphibians but admittedly with my finger of the proverbial pulse in recent times I got a bit confused at this report.
Dancing frogs is what the BBC report calls these things but when I resting about this seemingly unusual dancing behavior it started to become somewhat ... familiar!
Although the frogs in the picture look different to the family of frogs I think they are related to they look more like something related to another, Epipidobates of South America which are plain cousins to the Poison Arrow Frogs, or Poison Frogs, of the Dendrobates groups, many renamed now, of South America?
The odd thing is the behavior they refer to as 'dancing' I think is nothing of the kind, until I have looked into it further. I believe these are types of Semaphore Frogs and the genus I am familiar with are Staurois. These wave they legs about while arising their toes to reveal a turquoise blue webbing because they bred near noisy waterfalls. So body in fact that it renders any vocalization completely useless and therefore they evolved, or learned, to use the blue webbing to advertise themselves. Hence the name Semaphore Frog and the same name as those guys that work on an aircraft carrier signaling to pilots on manoeuvering their jet fighter?
These little guys of the Staurois genus ate in a short list of amphibians that ate fascinating top me but never had the privilege of seeing them, let alone breeding them!
Well I have repeatedly stated how scientists that are so sure of themselves along with their understandings can be turned inside out.

I do have to admit that I had long wondered about whether this cure was correct and even had the conversation with my father, who passed away ten years ago. Though I don't think I have given it much thought since. Instead of an expanding gas from a supernova they think now that it may indeed be collapsing? Being created from the outside in? This would make for some interesting predictions?! No doubt there will be another barrage of scientists, with some decent ones, that week start harping on about how they are right and everyone else is an idiot?! Lol!
It is, quite infuriatingly and unfortunately so, so very difficult in science to nail anything down as the culprit when our records are so short.
Personally I wish it were not this way but it is and if I had a penny for each time a scientist suddenly decides that he is done self proclaimed authority and his word is law is ... unfortunate and unsettling.
Oddly enough about the same time there was a disagreement going on over the discovery of two young dinosaur bones related to Tyrannosaurus. Though oddly both this one along with another found I was unaware of have been given different genus names. So everything is Tyrannosaurus cousin then?
I would hazard a guess that scientists that are strongly against anything new most likely have been stating things as definite facts that are about to be blown ... intoorbit?! Sorry I just could not resist that one.
One of the these nebulae they spotted this happening is none other to the Orion Nebula. I suspect this won't be found to be the case in all of them? I also suspect the ratio will not be even either. Desire the fact I am half asleep my heads throwing the figure of 33.3% to 40% one way. Be interesting to see the eventual result of this, God knows how long before this figure comes out?!
For me there were just too many visual clues, or differences, between them. Huge ones at the extremes with their contents and colour, it just seemed to be there were very different things going on and I could not understand why they never announced any of these nebula as actually collapsing. Possibly the existence of stars within them made then think they were the creation of smaller mass stars from a much more massive star?
Quite an interesting one this as it is regarding that mud slide in North America.
Now I was quite shocked at the sheer volume of earth that student broke away from a hillside burying many homes and many unfortunate people. Hopefully those still missing will all be found alive?!
But what got my attention was the fact that someone, a scientist possibly, predicted this would happen!!
Now I am very eager to know more about this prediction and why it was totally ignored by all? I have to ask myself if this attitude of ignoring scientists is down to those standing on cardboard soap boxes just wanting to get on TV or a tabloid column?! So you could argue that it's been a case of cry wolf because of bad scientists?! But then there was a certain British scientist who was fired because he refused to lie as he was told to about Cannabis causing mental illnesses! He ended up all over the news because he told the truth!! Many others lie or exaggerate to get themselves noticed!
Still I think before very long now this good and bad science with their associated good and bad scientists will likely clash or certainly appear to be heading for a confrontation...of sorts! Lol!
Note that would not only be verycoolbut cuts out the middlemen of government who try to manipulate science to serve them or the very few higher classes?!
Hmm now I wonder?! Exactly how many middlemen, getting earnings for feck all, can be done away with, meaning they will have to actually find something that CONTRIBUTESTOSOCIETYINSTEADOFFEEDINGOFIT.

I was thinking how the website Kickstarter does away with banks, or the need for them! Digital Media has almost done away with labels and disc manufacturers. Though I think these will remain in some small capacity especially for films. Possibly for music artists with longevity and not the manufactured rubbish rammed down our throats in these crappy reality/talent shows.
Yes I think for the next 5 years there is going to be a lot of shuffling about? How good it would be to get rid of those vampiric like businesses which do not really serve a purpose or much of a service?
