RE-AFFILIATING WITH AFFILIATES

I had an email from someone I was affiliated with as regards to advertising on my blogs.

I will not state who it is or the affiliate agency I found them through. But I will state that I sought then out because I have been familiar with them for years! They are a well known online store for gadgets and computer equipment.

They asked me if there was a problem because they had been getting no clicks which was weird because I thought I had informed them all when I removed all the advertising, except for Google's AdSense, regarding the affiliate agencies. So I replied and I stated basically what I have stated about the free advertising on here! I also went into detail about Google and their AdSense! I explained that I had a large list of blogs and that the numbers presented to me by Google themselves make no sense and some that should NOT go backwards actually do which led me to believe there was done skulduggery going on or extremely badly chided algorithms?! I also stated that I discovered that it was not only I but a fair few people who are authors feel as if they are ripped off online!

I then pointed out what I said to Google...

1 You cannot approach TV, Magazines or even a local newspaper and expect to get free advertising, and we are talking just one issue here or for one week even!!

2 That with currently reaching the 100,000 mark and with the 2,000 per week going to rise throughout the warmer months that they seem to expect to get free advertising while we work and they make billions of pounds/dollars?!

I stated that I kicked off the ads for a year or until such a time that I can find the time to research and find out what numbers you need to reach so that I can at least make the lowest monthly payments and until then, or I reach them I am not giving away free advertising and brand awareness to anyone! Of course AdSense is left in their because I know that the longer it remains on there and the longer it takes Google to start paying the worse it looks for them, regardless of what the reason is meaning skulduggery or bad algorithms!

This is because I have lost count of the number of times I have tried to contact them and wrote to their offices in Belgravia in London some weeks ago but apparently I am too insignificant as a human being too be worthy of help, advice or even to check how their numbers manage to do the impossible?!

Lmao!

Of course the whole time I have the other numbers to compare with Blogger which looks even more ridiculous with each week that passes by. As time fires on the numbers get further and further apart between the two blogs and there will be a point when others start asking questions of this very suspicious way of making billions of pounds/dollars while sitting on their arses on the back of others who work their butts off to provide content/help and advice people/show people the truth/pictures/videos and all manner if other things and do it for free! This August that would be two whole years for me on Blogger!

I will then make a note of the figures and then wait 6 months until the other one catches up on the two year period and I will then take those figures and compare and publish the two?! I think that to predict that these figures would be poles apart would actually turn out to be quite an understatement!

I have been a bit cheeky here because I have quite deliberately not posted anything about comparisons between the two. This is because the numbers are growing apart ever faster and I want it to be a complete jaw dropping shock to all that sees it when the time comes. Of course that will be later in the year but I want it to be all based upon not only working my own butt off for two whole years but that the posts themselves would number likely over 3000, three a week would be a thousands weeks Lol, so that it appears eye watering to all that see it!

Remember I am only interested in discovering the truth and when something starts to look odd, especially when compared to something else which is more or less identical my brain starts to have trouble reasoning as to why this is. I then become extremely curious to find it the real reasons! Though I am not focused on this particular matter at all currently I will be all over it by the Autumn of this year, 2014.

That will be the time I start researching it fully along with searching around and sending of emails. But just be patient as I can find it bloody hard to finish things I started, but it will not continue like this I assure you. After all I still have those Freedom Of Information Requests to finish and publish?! Lol!

As I become fitter in my bike and the stupid arse clocks go forward in a couple of weeks time I will be spending more time in the evenings and in the daytime both on my laptop and on this tablet and seeking out more answers to the million or two questions banging around the walls of my grey matter!

Lmfao!

At the end of the day I did not expect money immediately, that would be silly and I was fully prepared to go a year at least before expecting the lowest miserly sum. But at two years with that first one and with the blog numbers going to be pretty impressive by then and likely obvious they will then be rising much faster with each week it will all look... well rather preposterous if I am honest!

THE DE-AFFILIATION PROCEDURE

After my numbers seemed to actually go backwards and not a single penny made in the last 6 to 8 weeks I have removed all advertising and gone back to Google Adsense ads?!

It was ridiculous. 

The layout was awful and it seems that in the last 4 weeks not a damn things happened at all and I received no clicks whatsoever?! Considering that one of the three advertisers contacted me after 48 hours and said that a great deal of traffic was heading to their site and they wanted to know how I was doing it I really do not understand what was going on and went on AFTER that?!

Either the advertiser was lying to me or Affiliate Window is and in the time I was with them I estimate that I would have likely made £10 or more?!

I am also getting about double the visitors I was when I took out the Adsense ads so in theory the earnings should rise TWICE as fast?! In fact as the weekly visitors are themselves increasing it should technically rise a little under 2.5 times faster than it did previously?!

So let us oput that to the test?! £10.47 and let us give it one month and see what it is then?!

This advertising rubbish really is a nightmare, or a con, or BOTH!!!

In future I will need to be approached directly as I am NOT seeking out anymore rubbish Affiliate Agents! It really has been something I am not willing to repeat in all honesty and I wish fecking Google had never contacted me telling me I can make money from writing….as they did not mention I would have to write 3 to 4 days a week for 5 years before I start earn my pittance?!

LMAO!

If in one months time the Adsense money is rising at the same speed it was before then I am going to remove all their adverts … AGAIN and not have ANY on their.

Then I will start to become a real pain in the posterior for them.

Would be cool to find a Pay Per Clock agent with decent rates and adverts but its too much hard work to sort of the wheat, if there IS any lol, from the CHAFF?!

Hehe.

The ones I have come into contact with are…

Webgains (were not very clued up as did not think Blogger people can put ads on their sites?!)

Tradedoubler (unable to answer a simple question)

Affiliate Window (someone lied to me about traffic or reports and designer should be fired)

Linkshare (designer should be whipped to the point of sobbing, lol) nothing at all happened as far as clicks are concerned.

Aflite (UK based but like Tradedoubler unable to respond to emails)

Another industry and also like everything else on the Internet it is a bloody mess due to no governance, rules or fines for doing things badly!

But do not worry they will introduce an Ombudsman or three in the UK and we will realise after twenty years and millions of pounds of public money up the spout that they actually do not do anything?! Like all other Ombudsman and probably most governing bodies, lol.

A DANCE AMONG GHOSTS

Well it has been a long hard struggle but I think I have finally achieved the high on impossible and what Google seemingly tries to keep from me.

First off the limit of THREE ADS on the blogs is actually wrong and it's the of a certain size or over a certain size.

Secondly I have waded through the quagmire that is Affiliate Directories and there has been some odd things.

One I have emailed with does not seen to be too sure of what they are actually doing and got some surprising things wrong. Some big company names are on their lists too!

Another company that contacted me directly now seems to be on their third Affiliate Directory in as many months?!

Yes it is a quagmire!

It also seems that poor old blog writers send to be screwed at every turn in every way possible! Nice.

Done by such charming companies too all wanting world, peace, love and world domination...DOHH!

Oddly it seems a growing number of companies that behave in this manner now seem to find their names on an ever growing black list of companies up to no good?!

Well I NEVER!!

Perish the thought my man!!

One had to wonder exactly where this is leading and will the seeming growing in stature of these announcements continue 'ad infinitum'? It certainly seems to be this way and therefore you have too ask ... What next? How shocking will it be and what will come AFTER?!

Is there a pattern to all this? It certainly seems as if someone is pressing the correct buttons in certain sequence. These would be labelled something like..

'Anger Them'
'Anger and Surprise'
'Anger and Shock'
'Piss Them Off & Surprise'
'Piss Them Off & Shock'
'INFURIATE & DISGUST'
'START CIVIL WAR'

Or something similar, ha!

So where next and how much longer will it continue?

I also ask myself about the kind of people who sure going after theses kind of stories?! It does ease certain...aspects of my psyche in that someone somewhere is now going after these stories.

It will also pose another set of questions for me if this particular thing with GCHQ and who exactly was behind out and who exactly was to gain from it?

So many things to concentrate on while trying to provide enough content for all my blogs and working it details I should not have to for months on end so u can earn the princely sum of sweet FA and wonder which estimated date I will get my first payment and actually get it CORRECT?!

So far despite the ever growing number of visitor each week that rises at an impressive rate in such a short time it becomes ever more staggering with every month that goiters by with a black...

Well I DO have 14 blogs, you know?!

I have even had a large will known company email me and state the following...

'we have had a great deal of traffic from your site and wondered if you could explain how you did it and provide screen shots?'

Now the fecking annoying thing is according to the account figures the traffic they are speaking if is one single solitary click?!

One of these is therefore a lie and just like everywhere else I look our am involved in it is a lie or misinformation or misdirection?!

Most definitely a quagmire absolutely indeed!

Once you think you have something sorted it seems to vanish before your very eyes and either appears at another location our something entirely different appears in its place.

Disconcerting? Off-putting?

No, it just makes me want to kick more arse and KICK arses I must certainly will and continue to do so until everyone GETS IT!!

Now though it is their turn to be handed a number and told to get in line?!

In the meantime everything I see and here becomes more and more skin to something from Stephen King's The Stand?!

If I ever spot a little old black lady in a rocking chair in her front garden I an going to turn and run very fast!
