NO LONGER A FUNNY OLD GAME

Yup for the first time I can recall and only taken five years of being in what is in essence a recession... no deppresion because that is his everyone feels deep down despite the brave faces.

Odd that the cost of football matches now comes up after years and years of things constantly getting further and further until an extremely distant orbit!

Everyone I know was talking about this for 5 years before the recession even officially started! It was a topic of an old mate of mine who departed London and I have not seen nor spoken to for 3 years now!

I really do not like Esther McVey, her voice! Never in my life have I ever heard a politician sound so insincere while also managing to speak in a way to make it sounds like her mind is saying..

'yeah the British public are all half-wits, they will but this bull and I will just keep making it sound like we have done miraculous things for over 4 years when we have done fucking nothing at all proving that those we pointed the fingers at are not to blame but no matter... they are all just half-wits! '

I digress. Yuck!

Anyway... yes! So the cost of a football match is apparently outstripping the cost of living?! Really?! You spot this now?!

I am a supporter of one of the biggest names in football and the Premiere League. Yet is the biggest name not to win the Premiere League or previous First Division since 1961 where they were the greatest team in Britain. They have won plenty of FA Cups and held the record for many years. We also had the first £1 Million signing and have had several of the biggest names in football for years. Oddly we are one of the few teams, strangely Everton being the other one, that did not have done rich buyer come along and buy the best team! A la Chelsea and Manchester City. Oh and Liverpool. Newcastle United to a degree and Blackburn Rovers. All have won the title after having a large input of cash. Yet my team have never managed this and I never dreamed back in 1978 when we were in the Second Division and beating Bristol Rovers 9-0 that in nearly 40 years time that English Champions weeks have still ended us?!

Yet when I think about it, which I did recently because there was talk of the team being sold, I was never sure that I would be happy if my team bought the title?

My team has had names like Klinsmann, Gascoigne (who I met once), Ginola, Lineker, Hoddle, Waddle, Greaves, Blanchflower, Mackay, Archibald (first Million pound signing), Jennings, Crooks, Clemence, Keane, that Bulgarian... ooh Bebratov (knew it started with 'B') and many others I have not thought of. Oh yes that Welshman ... Terry Yorath! Of course I mean Gareth Bale! Oh yeah and the Argie trio of Osvaldo Ardiles, Ricardo Villa and Diego Maradonna! Yes he did! Look it up! Osvaldo testimonial years ago! So there! Lol!

Of course it is Spurs, Tottenham Hotspur. A team whose fans have suffered in recent decades despite the list of great footballers.

In fact there was this talk of limiting teams to view much money they could spend on players and link it to his much they earn. I thought how typical this would be and that after this all any premiere league team could spend is about three pound seventy five after all the greedy players have been paid.

That reminds me of how I laughed when I saw the richest footballers in the world campaigning for lesser footballers who are not being paid! Well YEAH! Maybe if you were not all receiving a weekly figure many do not see in their entire lives which had only helped force up prices or property, cars and other things and left your supporters skint?!

Yeah but then I guess naivety comes into play when your looking for that rush or escapism? A bit like gambling then, eh? You pays your money and take your chances. But what happens when the huge costs are only rewarded with misery most weeks?! Lol. Empty seats at a fair few low table teams!

Not really this for the sport and not really fair is it? In fact I think there is an argument for football boot being a sport because sport means a level playing field. It is anything but in recent times. Both on the pitch and in the seats. But then look at FIFA?!

THE EXPECTIONS OF THE NAIVE

I saw this article regarding a banner attached to a light aircraft with the words 'Wrong Man - Moyes Out'. This is of curse referring to Manchester United and their new manager David Moyes.

Yes OK I am not a Manchester United fan but when I saw this banner it made me realise just how naive people can be!

It is funny is it not? They have had their best years ever under Alex Ferguson and now he had retired a bunch of fans think that someone can just take things up where he left off and carry on as if nothing has happened?! 

More annoyingly they also seen to think that being the top team is their God given right?! How boring it has been fur a number if years now, or was, knowing it would be one of the or for teams that will win the Premiership?! How bloody boring it would be if it was always the same bloody team?!

As a Spurs fan since a kid I went for the longest time longing for us to finish to experience that like the days of 1961! If I had seen Spurs finish top just two or the times in the last thirty years I would have been ecstatic! I was ecstatic to see us in the Champions League as well as his far we went! But Man United fans would probably throw huge fit if they only won the Premiership 3 times in ten years?!

I wonder if they considered that speaking as if managing Manchester United is easy as is winning the title with them might just be a bit disrespectful to their previous manager?! If I was him I would feel a bit pissed with these fans as they seem to think it's dead easy? Maybe they think that what you need to do is just bit the top manager that will win the title?!

The funny part about it is that now that two other teams have appeared as genuine contenders, one is a team that previously owned the title during the 70's, Liverpool, and one had basically bought most of the top players and managers so of course they would get a title or two? That would be the other Manchester team of Manchester City. Still it is nice to have a different couple of names up there even if yet again it is not Spurs?!

CHILDREN TARGETING HITS NEWS

Well as I hit on before with certain things children are targeted to earn money and far too much for feck all in all honesty.

This is a part of computing that has concerned me for some time now. Indeed I first heard about this in a CSI episode a few years ago and then I started seeing it in Facebook. Indeed I met a naive woman with learning difficulties, who was not registered as having them so no help for her, and she had spent a fortune and regularly buying things for a farm in Farmville?! These greedy game apps creators need to be out in their place along with the companies the conveniently allow them to do it and turn a blind eye because they earn money!

Poor people being cheated with money and view compare that to someone with no money downloading something that is copyright protected and belongs to who already has millions from said copyright and you would think the world was going to end from the reaction of the industries and all their families were going to starve to death?!

CONTRAST!

When I realised you could pay for all this stuff on these games and apps I saw this as nothing more than a con! A game is a game and when you go to watch your football team they charge you 50 quid anyway which us ridiculous but there is not a sign saying "PAY £100 TODAY AND SEE SPURS BEAT ARSENAL 10-0"?!?!

Your charging people to cheat while others genuinely playing see it as a waste of time. It is in itself cheating which seems to go on a great deal in Facebook while I get emails about paedophiles and child pornography going on in their pages they do nothing about!!

Money really has become the route of all evil today. Additional content they call it while I call it cheating and making cash from idiots. But genuine players end up losing out as all genuine and honest people do today squeezed on either side by rich and evil. Hmm maybe that should be rich + evil and evil?! Lol.

Well I for one am hoping and even remarked yesterday that not all those that are rich are evil and there will be done signs of this fact in the coming weeks ... fingers crossed!
