I thought it apt as a United Nations official who expressed his utter shock at the responses of governments, both here in the UK and in the US reaction to Edward Snowden, had the same surname. Frank La Rue.
Best of all is his reminding of these countries of what it means to be a democratic nation. Bizarrely this if something that American government officials like to state at least once each time they are interviewed in the media our performing addresses!
I personally applaud his condemning of the talk of legal action towards The Guardian tabloid by Dunce Cameron! Lol.
At least someone somewhere possesses done common sense and sees things for what they are, an abuse of democracy and all that it stands for. I believe this is rife and the main reason not many in the UK actually vote as it makes no difference. They promise you a load of lies the majority of which will never see the light of day!
But like I said, mostly because someone else actually runs the country. Likely the dark forces The Queen was said to have remarked about. The people in the shadows that ruin hundreds of thousands of lives for money and power. Not for the good of mankind or even just a country. Quite the opposite in fact.
